Decent defense but no depth. Ole Miss blanks Louisville in the first half but also lost two linebackers to targeting calls. Then Louisville puts on 24 points in the 2nd half.
Really good first string - depth is the issue which is to be expected when defensive recruiting only picked up last year. Last year's defense was utterly incompetent and this year, they look like a completely different unit. They still have a significant talent deficiency (Defensive line) but with the offense that they have, it might just be enough to give this team the path to be a force.
