Watching this on Dec 2021 with my 87 year old mom. She usually goes to the Philippines at this time but because of Covid hasn’t been back since early 2020. Watching this video , although taken in 1990, made us both nostalgic especially listening to the ilocano songs. We can’t wait to get back once the pandemic ends or slows down.
My mom (Lola Rose to her grandchildren) and I are watching this on December 26, 2021 in Connecticut. My mom is 87 and we were looking for Filipino Christmas songs to listen to. We came across this and she and I just LOVED listening to all the Ilocano songs. We are from Ilocos Norte and we had just been in Vigan in 2020 so seeing this video made us miss the Philippines. Thanks for sharing this!!

You know what Mr. and Mrs. Reed, If i will be given the chance to choose on which era of my life I would live again? Id still choose 90's, for it was so full of memories from my family, and my life as a child, now that I am 28 years old, many things have changed. I am now only dreaming of living in the past when my family are still complete... The aura of places in the Philippines that was shown in the video reminds me of how simple and beautiful life can be. Thank you so much for this video.

I was just in Baguio last month visiting relatives from the States and never knew about the devastating earthquake until I got back when looking up videos this place. Thansk for sharing of the detail recovery, which put this devastation in a bigger perspective. That place has been re-built well as I couldn't tell there was an earthquake before when I was there for the 1st time in my life. Maligayang Pasko and God bless the people of Baguio :)
