    Great video! I’m currently exploring the recruitment of credit controllers and would love to hear in a little more detail about what you consider a highly desirable candidate. Specifically, do you focus on metrics like Days Sales Outstanding, and what other metrics would you be looking at? How do these metrics vary across different sectors?
    Additionally, from my research, it seems that financial directors prefer candidates who can proactively communicate over the phone rather than relying solely on email.

      First off, thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated.
      The first question is absolutely something to ask your prospects - I suspect that your suggestion will be 90% of the replies you get. But the second point you make - picking up the phone rather than passively sending emails will be the remaining 10% - or, probably, how the best people reduce debtor days (sales days outstanding). Almost all accounting systems have automatic credit control emails built in, so a great candidate is probably the one who goes beyond that!
