The rollers look like those used to squeeze out clothes when transferring laundry from an old wringer washing machine to a tub of clear water for rinsing. Originally a manual wringer but later they were electric and a hazard for getting your arm hung in. That happened to me once. Luckily they had an emergency release you could hit to release the pressure. This was still being used some places in the middle 60's.

    • @thefindingfamily

Oh my... that had to have been a scary moment, thank the lord the safety feature worked properly 🙏 I absolutely agree with your idea of the washing machine roller! Thank you for watching! Stay safe 😁👍

Yes it had emergency release but I got my arm stuck in there when I ws 2 years old. I didn't know how to use it and til mom got back in to help there was some damage. I was in hospital for several days and for a while drs. thought they would have to amputate. Fortunately that was not necessary and although it is a little different in strength the worst is the scar on my elbow. My arm went all the way to the shoulder.

I agree! Back in the day laundry was an all day job! The wringer washers were an upgrade from the washboard! There were no dryers so you had to roll the clothes through the wringer then if it wasn’t freezing out the clothes were hung on a clothes line- that was my job!

They would use a grafing hook like the one you found when they were searching for a body when someone drowned they would the toss the hook in the water hoping that it grabbed the body. They still do and the will use a fish finder to.

It’s like a freeze it and chisel it off. I think freezing glueing top and it would not right off. I don’t know how you’re going to get the glue off I’m super curious … so I’m a stay tune for your video on the restoration for this piece. Okey-dokey Smokey good luck…..🙋🏼‍♀️🍀🍀🍀🍺

Surprise that that spot has not been already fished out. You (pl) have been there a dozen (est) times.

You said and antibodies and Tyler started laughing thinking you said enter bodies….
I don’t understand why he laughed when he misunderstood. That was kind of strange. .
Hi sweetie, thought to pop in and say hi and wish you some luck🍀🍀🍀🍀 I was just watching a video with Owen and his dad Tyler on the boat. The third video that Owen had made in the first half is what I only watched only because Owen kept on talking to dad and dad was only speaking through his camera and he wasn’t really paying attention to the kid This is when I gave up on watching it then I fell on top of your video now this is a little more interesting😁😁 are you saving up all these fines to purchase your truck do you have plans with this when when do you think you will get it?
Tyler doesn’t seem himself lately. I think he’s gone single he just doesn’t seem himself at all.
Or is it because his new home is being built? Seriously he’s just not himself at all.
Well, I guess that’s about it. I just care about everybody but it seems like you’re doing
A OK😊 I wish someone was here to boot me in the butt to get me to start my laundry to lazy. I’d rather eat my chips and watch your video and have some coffee. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, ha ha tomorrow’s another day !
well have fun play safe because we all care. 🩵💚🧡🍺🍺🍺🍀🍀🍀🍺🍺🍺🍺🤪
Please take care of Tyler. If there is something wrong, maybe it’s his health? He’s always always always on the boat. Pulling up stuff doing stuff keep him himself so occupied I’m just a little worried you could find out more. I hope he’s OK. When you’re done reading this, can you delete it? Please thank you, Snapple.🤍🤍🤍🍺
