Everywhere says to let go once you see the Samsung logo. This video helped me see you need to keep volume up and side button held.

Just connect your tablet with your laptop by usb cable and do the hard reset by push the power button and volume down button together. when the screen is blank move your finger to the volume up button while another finger still on the power button. Release your fingers when the screen shows samsung logo. it worked for me

it doesn't work. After the image in 1:04, the Samsung start screen appears. The program then starts normally.
This no longer works and has been disabled via Android Update. Google does not want you doing this. This is called FRP lock or FACTORY RESET PROTECTION, and you must take it to a retailer to do this. Most people bypass via Direct connection and a APK which is more advanced, but yes, this is no longer working for those wondering at least on a consumer level. You can do it with a developer connection and android device bridge if you are a developer or are techncially proficient.

Connect the tablet to a laptop or computer using a usb. Then follow the instructions in this video. I was having the same problem but it finally worked.

I followed the steps in the video it did not work I connected it to a laptop tried it again and it still doesn't work I can get to the menu to factory reset it but after it goes through its cycle and comes back on it's still asking for a password

Excelente, solo funciona siempre que tengas conectada la tablet con el cable USB a la COMPUTADORA. Conecten el cable que trajo el cargador de la tablet a la entrada USB de una computadora, conecten la tablet y luego hagan el Hard Reset

Hi, I have got a galaxy S6 and I have just recently got the password lock screen come up which I don't understand because I don't have ANY password or lock protection on it 🤔 I have tried numerous times to hard reset it but each time I get the first screen to go black with the volume down and power buttons and I then hold the volume up and the power button until the Samsung logo comes up and that is as far as I can get because no matter what I try I am unable to get the blue screen to come up and it just keeps going back onto my screensaver screen and it's still locked, I am pulling my hair out here and wondered if you or anyone else might have any ideas what is wrong, thanks 😢 x

It seems that My Tab doesn't enter recovery mode, because it has just 48% battery.
After plugging to power it immediatly entered recovery mode.

**ATTENTION**
I have a solution if you end up stuck in "SS RDX" mode
1. Once in SS RDX Mode plug USB Cable from Tablet to a Laptop or Computer
2. Press and hold both power and volume down until the screen exits SS RDX and you see black
3. As soon as you see black, while still holding the power button, press volume up and it should take you to the recovery menu
I took me a few times but I was able to get it after roughly 20 attempts

I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it
