I tried this but after the samsung part came up with the name of the tablet it just went and put the samsung logo on and went back to the home screen. What can I do now?
After i factory reset. It still asked for the lockscreen passcode. OR the email associated with it. To bad all videos dont say it wont work unless you know the pincode or email. No other way then paying company to unlock it

Because you are holding the power button for too long. You need to release the pwr button once the phone restarts and just keep holding the volume up btn. And the cable must be connected at that time. Watch the video again. It must work. Good luck

Mine was in airplane mode and still worked ur obviously not pressing the buttons together at exactly the same time, took me a couple of attempts but trust me it does work

If there was a google account it won't be deleted. You will need to know it, otherwise more work are need to be done. It's a different story.

I connected it to my airpods i keep following the steps but it just goes to turning on instead of going to reset mode what do i do?

You need to follow the steps really carefully and don't forget the cable. It must work, but timing is important. Good luck.
