Gosh! You are probably the only person in the world lucky enough to have this Acsoon see app working with a 3rd party capture card. I have been trying to use this same app for over a year now, tried different usb capture cards, tested on different phones, spent hours trying different settings on my Samsung galaxy note 10 plus all to no avail. The app lags incredibly, feed shows like 1 frame every 2/3 seconds, totally unusable. Got the nExt camera app which has been working flawlessly but very limited for most things I need like frame guides, peaking and all. Anyway kudos to you for this amazing tutorial. 👍👏👏👏
Get well, and good stuff as usual. Keep 'em coming. 👏🏾👏🏾
Nice video
I'm using the app nExt Camera on Android. Less features, but in my tests a lot more stable than the Accsoon app
Next camera is a garbage
Is it free
@@onuohapaschal4058 it is
what is the application u use here u didn't tell us at all
at 2:36 (and throughout the video) I talk about the app and its name is titled across the video for some seconds. It's also mentioned at the top video description and I put a link to the app page as well 🙂
How might this work with IOS? I have hdmi out from camera into capture device to usb-c on ipad pro with accsoon see open but not seeing anything on ipad screen. I know accsoon has the seemo device but you seemed to be able to use the see app without hardware
I've come to realize that this solution is problematic on ios devices. For some iPads and iPhones, accsoon makes a capture device of their own called the accsoon SeeMo which will set you back a ridiculous $179. You can search for it on Google then check on accsoon's website to see the compatibility list.
my camera does not have an hdmi of sny sort, what should i do?, I only have a mini usb a round video out and a smaller round thing in the middle, I am using an older canon rebel xs
Hey thanks very much for this tutorial. You've showed me a cost-effective method for using the phone as a monitor. Here's a suggestion: instead of a rubber band or even a zip-tie, use the 3M command strip to hold the capture card to the phone holder. It would be more secure and sturdy. Thanks again and all the best!
✌
Thanks man! This really helped. I hope you hit your first 1000 subs soon!
Can this work for iPhone 12?
It actually doesn't work with Fujifilm Cameras. I've tested already, same capture card and nothing happens. It works on the Monitor+ though, but you gotta pay an extra $20.
Hi i cont find Cube Folder my mobile
This is so cool! I never tried this because I always thought you needed the official Accsoon hardware to make the app work!
Just needs a USB to hdmi interface and it works 👍🏾 The benefit of the accsoon hardware is that it also charges your phone at the same time
Hey, thanks for the video. I tried with a Canon R5 and an iPad Pro, but unsuccessfully. Any suggestion? Thanks, Stefano
Have you tried the Accsoon SeeMo capture card? Seems to be designed to work with some Apple devices
It did not worked on my Canon 80d with Samsung Galaxy J7 pro. How would I do it, please? Thanks.
nice
Going to try this :)
Deserve a follow for this one my friend!
Can i use this in any camera, like canon or nikon?
Yes, as long as it has a HDMI port
Please note this does not work with cameras under a7III on an iphone. My a6300 didn't work. The app says it's not compatible. For those in the same boat as me please take note.
Great video, but I have a problem. My Samsung Galaxy A0s3 phone accesses the Accsoon app, however, I cannot view what I want to shoot. Can you tell me how to get around that? I am using a Panasonic GH5 camera. Thank you
Why not just get the Accsoon M1? It's only $79 right now & it will do everything you just did plus a battery pack for your phone
That's also an option. It does the same thing. I don't have one but I already had the USB capture card. Also shipping to my country would be an additional $80
@@GatehiMwaniki I was about to ask if you had the capture card already, so that make sense. Me I already had a few ways to live stream & a Black Magic Assist 7" monitor but I'm I still think the M1 was worth it because it's a lot more convenient. It sucks that you have to pay so much for shipping
Very true. If you have access to the M1 then it's one of the best tools out right now for this kind of setup. Our shipping costs are terrible but it doesn't compare to how bad our currency has been doing against the dollar since the beginning of the pandemic. For me to buy the M1 after all these economic problems would be like paying $195 for it 😭
@@GatehiMwaniki 😢
Tested, M1 might not support hp without snapdragon chipset...
Great video, this would make it so much easier while creating.
Thank you! Glad i could help 🙏🏾
peak engineering with the rubber band, awesome video!!!
For my next trick I will build sustainable infrastructure with some duck tape 😄
good news thank you ,what about Apple Phones?
Accsoon SEE is also available in the apple app store and you can get a lightning to USB OTG cable. Plug in everything the same way, open the app and you should get a similar feed on your iPhone
Probably can charge the phone at the same time by using OTG splitter.
Great content! Watching your video made me understand that it was possible to do it with iOS devices. So I bough the cable, but it doesn’t work. One more cable for my useless collection.
I bought the whole kit, but I'm having an issue of the feed massively lagging. I found an alternative USB camera app but this app has all these features. I was wondering if you have any problems with first time setup? Using a canon 250d
Does the latency the same as other camera external monitor? Or higher?
Does the app work on any camera
I personally don't have the capacity to test every phone/camera but from a lot of comments it seems that not every phone-camera combination works.
Or for Sony camera you can use the free version or buy Monitor + app for about 24 $ and connect via USB type C cable or WiFi. I use it with Sony A7C and 6400 cameras and samsung note 10+.
This is true. I currently have an a7iv and i just use the creators app plus the flpi out screen. but at the time the a7iii didnt have a USB-c port and imaging edge was not as reliable for monitoring. I also think using a phone is better than a cheap monitor cause current phones tend to have high quality AMOLED displays. But there's also been a couple of high quality affordable monitor releases
Thank you, but for a camera with a flip out rotating screen, would there be need for all this?
It does have its uses if your camera doesn't have monitoring features like false colors, loading LUTs and waveforms. Most phones also have a much brighter screen and have higher resolutions than majority of mirrorless cameras. If none of these are a priority to you then there's no need for all this
@@GatehiMwaniki Ok, thank you very much
this will be good with my ronin sc since i won't be able to see my sony zv e10 flip out screen while the cam is mounted on the gimbal. will try this once i find an type a usb to micro hdmi cable.
Remember that you are getting a bigger field of vision with your phone that the small 3"/3.5" monitor on your phone.
1:53 Why rubber bands?! use BLUE TAC!
It's all I had at the moment 😅
@@GatehiMwaniki video making could had taken some preparation - like getting a shorter HDMI cable and blue tac. But good tip!
@吉吉翰 Gigi Han getting a short hdmi cable is not so easy here. There's no camera shop selling that I'm aware of and buying a $25 kondor blue cable from Amazon makes it equivalent to $81 when factoring shipping and our dollar exchange rate. It's also going to take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. The tac I agree 👍🏾 but I do put in time and effort into making my videos with what I can get considering I'm not getting paid anything to make them
Is this a clean hdmi feed?
Great video.
This was an amazing share! Thank you!
Thank you for watching 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Nifty. Asante sana.
Lots of lag when using the app. I'm using it with a Sony a6400 and Galaxy s21 ultra. An I missing something in the setup?
That's odd. Mine doesn't lag at all and there isn't any app settings I've changed. What capture card are you using?
Same here, don't know why
Have you any solution
are your cables/capture usb 3? i've read usb2 doesn't work properly.
Does it have mirror image option ?
Thank you
I tried all ways to connect the Canon 5dmk4 with the Iphone 12 pro, but I couldn't. Got any tricks you used after everything turned on? Because when you finished connecting everything, it didn't show you connecting your cell phone, and I jumped straight to the settings on the screen. I'm using Canon's hdmi cable for a capture card, connected to an Iphone usb/lightining hub.
I haven't tested this tech with Apple devices so I'm not sure why it's not working. When I connect the phone it automatically opens the Accsoon SEE app which you have to have installed before doing all this. Another option is you can get the Accsoon Seemo which will work and charge your iPhone at the same time. It's currently $179 on Amazon.
Only works on Android without additional hardware.
Hi, thanks for this. Do you know if theres a IOS version like this or an alternative thats not wireless? Cheers Paul
The only way to get this on IOS is to use the Accsoon SeeMo device and even that is not compatible with all versions. They do have a compatibility list on their website
Hi, work it with ipad 10 generation?
I haven't tested it on Apple devices so I'm not sure. You can get the Accsoon Seemo which will work and charge your iPad at the same time. It's currently $179 on Amazon.
DEAR I ASK WHAT AM I DOING WRONG I WATCHED YOUR VIDEO AND DONE WHAT YOU EXPLAIN AND TRIP DOES IT WORK ON MY CANON 750D I HAVE NO IMAGE ON MY SMARTPHON THX
