Appreciate you king 🫡 when i made that, i was only 8 months into going all in on music production. I’ve been a pianist/percussionist most of my life but translating it to the DAW was the toughest part
Ear training is an important skill i had to develop. Best way that I started getting better was balancing volumes by starting from zero and creeping up. And all the layers should support the bass/drums so make sure things like the lead don’t overshadow them
