As a teenager, Butch Cassidy and Sundance kid was the first movie that I saw w/o family. Ticket was purchased with money I made from a summer job. I felt like a grown up. This song played while Paul Newman rode a sexy Katherine Ross on a bicycle. I suppose women would say Paul Newman was sexy for that matter but not the heart throb that was Robert Redford.

@@GEFanuc21t --This guy's in love with you was written by Bacharach/David. Bacharach inserts a style of horn into some of his compositions that is distinctive. Raindrops keep falling on my head has that horn style. That's why I thought it might be Bacharach. For those who don't know, Hal David was the lyricist in this writing team. Together they wrote many hit songs for other artists.

This is the first time I watched one of your reactions and now I'm an instant subscriber. When I was a little lad I used to listen to this song on the radio and loved it.
One time I was dining in a fancy restaurant with my family and a violinist came to our table and asked us to pick a song. First I choose "Candy Man" by Sammy Davis Jr., but he didn't know it. Then I choose this song, he played it and it brought a big smile on my face. My God, I haven't thought of that moment in forever.

"raindrops keep falling on my head" is a metaphor for problems/challenges that occur in life but don't them get you down and don't cry and complain about your troubles because that won't do any good and won't help to overcome those challenges. Main song to the movie : Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid" in 1969, wom the Grammy for that year, and the song was inducted into The Grammy Hall of Fame in 2014. Started out singing in local choir. had a top 10 hit also in 1968: "Hooked on a Feeling". Mr Thomas passed on in 2021 - RIP.

He was certainly fortunate to get his hands on some great material and worked with some of the best producers and musicians however, he had to "deliver" ..... and he sure did with his vocals. Thank you Rogue, for your excellent reaction and for paying tribute to the late great BJ Thomas! Here's a fun idea for you! Have you ever tried a comparison video to two different artists doing the same song? Both BJ Thomas and Blue Swede did versions of the song "Hooked On A Feeling" and that would be one fun video to see your reaction to these very different versions of the same song!! Keep on doing what you are doing, Rogue - loving your channel so much!!

I really like you and your reactions and I notice you have a healthy, normal liking for a cute Guy so if you listen to the Frenchman: Sacha Distel singing it you might be in for a visual treat and as a straight Guy, I would say, looks-wise, he is THE guy I would have loved to have been in his lifetime and, not surprisingly, te Ladies swooned and sometimes fainted when he was around. Its the gallic charm and charisma....:)
