Hi dear, im in zone6 and started growing blueberries last year . I don't know how its doing yet. Hopefully i will see it fruiting this year. I grew mine in containers as well
Hi there from Australia, thank you for watching. I hope your blueberry plant is growing well, blueberry is one of the type of berry that easy to grow in container, just make sure you feed and water it often as well. When mine were in the first year, they didn't produce much of blueberries, they got more in the second year and more this year so it will take a little time. All the best❤
Did you say you grow your container blueberries in full sun? Most references state that they need full sun, but I've heard some growers say that isn't necessarily true. I'm assuming the cover you have over them is protection against birds and not for shade(?)
Thank you for watching. The container of blueberry that rescued before I put it in the area has more sun, especially hot afternoons sun with the reflex the heat from the wall and I was away so it didn't receive the water as it need so it was very sad. Most of my blueberry bushes they are in quite shady area, It would say they have filter light no direct sunlight at all, only the first big Sunshine blueberry has few hours of direct sun. Yes, I cover them with the net to protect the berries from the bird not the sun.
