I do have all of the decks you showed here and some more "dark decks": Mio Im's Tarot, Marigold Tarot, Tarot of Curiosities, Dia De Los Muertos Oracle, Ludy Lescot Tarot (if you look at the 3 of swords in this deck, it's the darkest 3 of swords ever), Secret Tarot by Dominic Murphy (quite twisted one), Abandoned Oracle by Patrick Valenza, Pole Ka Tarot, Any Means Necessary Tarot, Malefic Time Tarot & Royo Dark Tarot, Oracle of Nightmares by White Rabbit productions (one of my darkest decks), Dark Mirror Oracle, Stacey Demarco's Halloween Oracle, of course the Tarot of Vampyres by Ian Daniels, Natalie's Hertz Vampire Tarot, Somnia Tarot, Gothic Tarot by Joseph Vargo, also the Barbieri Tarot for me....and I'm going to say Nicoletta Ceccoli Tarot (despite the pastelly colours and innocent looking art work, this is a dark deck for me, etc.

I love finding out about new decks I haven’t heard of however being a beginner there are unfortunately decks I like are oop or astronomical. Love your channel! I agree about the white borders on the 3rd edition of Darkness of Light. Even though that is the only difference to the card it does brighten it up so much and gives it a different vibe. That is my FAVORITE deck and the ONLY one I have multiple editions of...all 4 😬....I may have an obsession. Lol.
Oh do you have the linen edition too then? I’ve always wondered what that feels like. There are so many different types of linen finish and some of them are my favorites! Thanks for watching 🙏🥰
@fairlighttarot Hi!! I do have the linen. I'll get it out tomorrow so I can give a good description on the type of linen since it's safely tucked away. Lol. 😊 The linen cardstock does make the art seem a little darker as well, and if I remember correctly, the deck may be overall thinner than the regular stock 🤔
@fairlighttarot ok, dug out all my D of L editions. Lol. So the 4th edition is about 1/4 inch thinner when stacked up. The linen is fine textured, about the same glossiness of the 3rd edition, so they slide across each other very smoothly and shuffle fantastic 😀 I also recently ordered one of the last copies of Cursed Auguries from the creator. I will be curious to see if it is linen finish like yours....I could have sworn someone else showed it, and it wasn't linen? 🤷♀️ Will be pleased either way, though.

I will definitely give it a try! It might work though, because the Tarot of the Abyss can be very blunt sometimes and even if I don’t necessarily see it as a shadow work deck, it might still pair well with the Journey of the Lonely Soul. Thank you for suggesting it 🥰
I do have a question, I am a beginner in tarot, I started with oracles as there isn’t as much of a learning curve and structure but I do recognize that some oracles are specific and are a lot more powerful. The few oracles I’m referring to are fallen angels oracle and goddess ones (isis, kali, Lilith.) Would you recommend them to a newbie like me? I just really feel so drawn to the fallen angels oracle and even the death doula oracle (I have a lot of anxiety about death and I think that deck would possibly help me better understand why.) Fallen angels is some serious business as I’ve heard Kali oracle is as well, so again, would you advise I start working with those and if so is there anything I’d need to do for my own self for them to be effective? 🖤
I don’t think there is a fixed list of decks you should or shouldn’t have. If a deck, especially an oracle, is resonating with you it’s generally because it represents something meaningful to you. Working with a deck that is meaningful to us ensures that we’re open to listen to its message. Another thing is if you want to learn a specific divination system. In that case, when it comes to Tarot, there are several decks that I recommend. If you do a search in my channel for “top 10 beginners decks” you’ll find a video about it. Having said that, I’d still go with your intuition!

The darkest deck i have and have ever seen is the magicae daemonibus. Its from actual 1400 era grimoires and the goetia. I love it

The Cult of Weimar Tarot deck by Rabbit's Moon Tarot is one of my Halloween go-to's. Very niche but definitely a dark vibe to it.

What do you think of the journey of the lonely souls oracle to be used with tarot of the Abyss? Too fine of an image(s)? I don t have the Crow Tarot
