What else can I say, listening to this EXCELLENT CONCERT , other than saying that I will be carrying COAL TO NEWSCASTLE, in praising the virtuosity and spell bound playing on this wonderful wind instrument, used by no less than LORD KRISHNA HIMSELF. Will I be committing an act of sacrilege in comparing him to HIM.
Every time I hear even a note played by JA Jayant ji, my heart skips a beat in utter joyous rapture !! May Perumal keep him and all his near & dear abundantly blessed !

As usual, it was a scintillating performance from start to finish. I especially liked the Kambodhi raga alapana and the immortal O RANGAGASAYEE. BRILLIANT.

Why no violin support??
It would have given the flutist breathing gaps and made his job easier and less demanding.
I agree, although you have to admit, the mridangam and ghatam did a stellar job at reciprocating the swara patterns that Jayant sir played. It only uplifted the concert to a higher quality katcheri.
@@saimanie1745 Sure but the pacca vaadhyam can do this only during the Kaplana swarms and not at other times.
