It's funny to see everyone side with Alex tbh. And tbh I ain't really siding with any of these nut cases. Roxanne has a lot of problems of her own, not ignoring that. But Alex... oh my... has plenty of times shown how much of a phony he is (just like a con man/politician), since he avoids answering every single question completely by using big words, avoiding details or answering them really personally, which to be fair bossy Roxanne catches quickly on. Smart play by a guy who is highly manipulative and hides his true self 24/7. You can be my guest and try to prove me wrong by rewatching it and focusing on him when he talks. He never goes into anything specific/deep about any topic about himself other than the positive regarding his business/success. More than often, he lets people give him answers that he will use/or talk for him in which he nods to, like lol. Skilled at being very manipulative like a politician I might say. Like his whole demeanor is ick and not genuine at all, because he uses the truth as a weapon with bad intentions just saying. He like avoids every question as much as he can and can't really say why he doesn't want to get married. Just gonna say he's living for the power trip and u can see it a lot.
Yes! Roxanne has her flaws, but men like Alex scare me. What stood out for me was the scene where he described her work ethic. “ she is working all day, but i was doing more” he said something like that during the drinks with the guys. To me that comment was so weird, like really? Why does he feel the need to compete. I think men like him are often really insecure.

Roxanne is very blunt and honest…she’s transparent and honest about her feelings about Antonio. Alex doesn’t seem very transparent..can’t really tell what type of person (good or bad) he is because he seems very shelled guarded. But I do think Alex was trying to bring Roxanne down a notch and it didn’t work. Roxanne is very tough and blunt with a big heart.

Alex was kind of trying to gaslight roxanne here. Probably a defence mechanism to knowing what he did was not appropriate as it was not the time or place for it. Gaslighting is unacceptable. Loved how Roxanne handled it. She stopped the conversation & walked away. That is the correct way to treat a narcissist, don't give them any fuel for fire, they just turn it on you so you are literally wasting your breath. There is a reason Alex is with someone like Kat
