I'm afraid that I will never be able to find anything that makes me feel like this song. The pure sentiment of being lost, but yet in home at the same time. A cold and solitary street in the middle of the night filled with street lights. The feeling of talking to someone who maybe you will never see again. The melancholic warm of being in your bed awake at 2am. The emotion of being exited over nothing. This song is just perfect in any aspect, it's like every instrument is playing a different song, but everyone complements each other, a beautiful disaster, but it's no disaster, it's well planned every note played.
if you like this song you might enjoy Houseki no Kuni's opening song, when i first heard this song the first thing that came to my mind was that op so i really recommend it to you💓✨
I remember discovering these guys when their Animal Body album came out and was so absolutely amazed. I listened to "math rock" for a long time and then stopped for years because it eventually got boring and I was looking for something vaguely "more" that couldn't put it into words. Then I stumble into these guys and it was like I finally found what I was searching for all those years. Everything I loved about math rock, but manages to go beyond that "cold" or "sterile" technicality. So intricate and layered and dynamic, a perfect balance of complexity/technicality and warm, moving harmonies. All these years later and still one of my favorite bands. I still tear up at the sheer musicality of some tracks. Just sublime. Their compositions are seriously something else. Undeniably skilled and incredibly unique. Terui's work with Sora Tob Sakana is also wonderful. But I hope Haisuinonasa is still active and making music. No one else sounds quite like this.
What a journey it's been to getting here. I wanted to see if österreich released any new music (which I found out they did), learned that the guitarist was in the cabs (which blew me away), then found out the girl singing (in österreich) is from this band, and then this song blew me away. Beautiful. I can't wait to go through everything tomorrow.
No wonder it sounded so much like that one Tokyo ghoul outro! It was my favorite one and I could never find the genre of music but didn’t know where to search. I ended up running into this song on a whim while searching for bands with similar vocals to “plastic girl in closet” and now I’m obsessed
