I just did my hair lavender. I bought Girls Night way before I saw it had a lot of negative reviews, so I used that and mixed in some Purple Rain to help with opacity. It still ended up being patchy and disappointing, so I ended up going over it again with the Iroiro. It’s not perfect, but after two colorings, I’m just going to blame my hair and not the dye. If I go for this color again, though, I’ll have to try Stoned Pony. :) Your video of Lime Crime Cloud has me pretty convinced to try that color next, though!
i have mine dyed rn with girls night and i had to do it i twice and it was still SO patchy and i was as blonde as her examples. it was so sheer and i could feel it slipping off my hair while dying it
If you are washing the hair in hot water and the blonde turned green, it's likely hard water build up. The effects of hard water are probanly more moticeable with hot water because it opens the cuticles and the minerals can stain the hair. Most people probably have hard water, so it doesn't necessarily mean you have to get a filter. But anytime you wash with hard water, especially hot, there is a chance of mineral staining. That IroIro color lasted way more than I thought! Ive tried some of their pastels and those came out of the hair faster, so I like that this one is richer.
Where did you get the hair from? I've been blonde for to long because I'm worried I'll ruin my hair again trying to get color out. I've even bought 4 different colors now and done nothing with them I don't feel brave anymore lol.
I would love to see the lunar tides juniper green compared with lime crimes new meadow, I feel like a good forest green is so hard to find and lunar tides shipping is so expensive to canada 🥺
Interesting! Sometimes there are inconsistencies, maybe they did put out an off batch 🤔 that is definitely frustrating and off-putting when a brand is not consistent in their shades
I plan to go lavender next month. I think I’ll use iroiro lavender and dilute it a bit. These videos are very helpful.

I have used both girls night and Lavender Fog by Strawberry leopard and had good experiences with both
Thank you! This was the only swatch I was able to find of the neon lavender!
Another thing to consider is that blue cancels out orange but purple cancels out yellow, so the ashy colors have more blue than purple ❤❤❤
So I tried a mix between iroiro neon lavender and good dye young stoned pony and I ended up with more of a periwinkle blue than purple . 🤷♀️
