About S.W.A.T.: Inspired by the television series and the feature film, S.W.A.T. stars Shemar Moore as a locally born and raised S.W.A.T. sergeant newly tasked to run a specialized tactical unit that is the last stop in law enforcement in Los Angeles. Torn between loyalty to where he was raised and allegiance to his brothers in blue, former Marine Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson has everything it takes to be an excellent leader and to bridge the divide between his two worlds. Hondo’s elite unit includes David “Deacon” Kay, an experienced S.W.A.T. officer who always puts the team first, despite feeling overlooked for the lead job; Christina “Chris” Alonso, a skilled officer and the team’s canine trainer; Dominique Luca, an expert driver who gets them in and out of high-risk situations; Victor Tan, who started in the LAPD Hollywood Division and uses his confidential informants in the community to help the team; and Jim Street, a cocky and promising new team member who is fired when his troubled family life leads him to compromise his role within the unit. Responsible for the management of all Metro Division S.W.A.T. units is Commander Robert Hicks, a senior LAPD official with the Special Operations Bureau. Overseeing Hondo’s team is Hicks’ direct report, Jessica Cortez, the ambitious captain of L.A. Metro whose professional aspirations force her to end an off-the-books relationship with Hondo. Hondo’s team enjoys an intense rivalry with another L.A.-based unit led by Jeff Mumford, an aggressive leader who likes to do things his way. With Hondo leading the charge, these dedicated men and women bravely put themselves at risk to protect their community and save lives. I've only seen this clip, but is there any reason why they couldn't contact LAX ATC and have planes diverted to a different approach or just enter a holding pattern?

@@donaldcharbonneau3399 Planes have a lot of extra fuel on board. They have to be able to divert if necessary to a different airport or to hold if there's a queue to land. They have at least one hour of extra fuel, sometimes more. Unless this plane was already diverted and running low on fuel?

I highly doubt that airplanes carry "a lot" of extra fuel.
Extra fuel means extra weight.
Extra weight means less profit, and since all companies are profit-driven, they might fly with a little more fuel.
But never much more than is absolutely necessary.

4:25 it doesn’t make any sense an A380 for a domestic flight LGA-LAX and with a callsign FR that’s Ryanair (shot haul airline Europe/Ireland)
Not to mention the launcher that should have about 6-8 km range, looks like they were firing it at sub 4 km which is good if your trying to hit something but it doesn’t have to be THAT close lol
An A380 would have twice the amount of passenger injuries and fatalities if it were to get hit by that missile launcher.

The Airbus A380 and the Boeing 747 are the largest passenger planes in the world. Should either one get shot down by one of the most technologically advanced rocket launchers, the results would be catastrophic. Both planes can carry over 800 passengers!

@@radaughter7337 Because he went for a shot to wound? You should always aim for center of mass, and he as SWAT should know that. Not only that, but I saw several tactical errors in this episode, don't even get me started on the whole show. Train like this and the swat force would die.
