Well done. There was a lot of sound on that stage with a horn and two harps, and your solo (just past the 3 minute mark) was simple & effective. Followed the chord structure. A nice 5-4-1. You should be pleased.
Good morning Lise/RG ☕🥓🍳 Chaotic, mental, unstructured mayhem but........ When you were up you nailed it, nice and tight , great tone , nothing too complex and you sounded great 👍👍😁. I was just watching a (Free Friday Lesson) by Jason Ricci, about root notes in a 12 bar and grooving on them. Then subtly adding a note or changing the rhythm, take a listen/look on utube 🎼. Well done Lise , one thing for sure , your tone is great. Hope your good and have a good weekend. 🏴👋👍👍😁🎼

Christ I hate utube 🫣. I just replied in length and god knows where it went. Listen Lise , you can play, no questions about it. Right now your putting yourself in the mix. Getting up there and doing it. Even the Greatest Harp Player's, past and present, are learning all the time. Do the shopping, practice, give us a new short, practice, play with the cat, practice etc , etc . Do the "KISS" ...... Keep It Simple Stupid. Get the groove, stick in a riff/lick , back to the groove, pop in another riff/lick , back to the groove. Maybe checkout some new turn arounds, change the note's, just little changes can make a solo bounce 🎼🎶. Keep smiling RG , Breathe deep in & out Slow when thing's are sh*t & soon ya focus and it fall's into place. 🏴👋🤗🤗👍🌞😎🎼🎶🃏
The harmonica is one of the smallest instruments a musician can play........But I am seeing Rocketgirl growing with every video! A little smoother....A little more relaxed.....A little taller.......What a cool thing to see!
