    hey man how could you make the movement inverted like from the edges of the comp to the center of it

    • @motionbynick
      @motionbynick  4 года назад +1

      A simple way you could do this would be to right click > time reverse on the outermost composition. This is slightly un-intuitive but might be easier than messing around with typing in with negative values everywhere and trying to animate it inverted. Let me know if that helps!

    if i dont want the album cover to ever turn upside down (visual example: www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/07/11/arts/music/funkadelic-maggot-brain.html) how do you do that? I can only figure out how do it by following these instructions, but when I do that, it plays kind of jittery:
    1.Put your logo in a precomp
    2.On a new layer, add a solid. Draw a shape over the solid for instance with the pen tool. or use one of those drop down shapes like a star, doesnt matter, as long as you’re creating a mask on the solid.
    3. In this case we drew a pentagon and we want the logo to animate along the path of the pentagon. Go to the solid, and under mask, find the words “mask path”. click it or highlight it. Press Command C to copy that mask path. (no keyframes involved in this step).
    4.Bring up the position parameter of the precomp that houses your logo. And press Command V to paste the pentagon motion path (from the solid) onto your logo. Keyframes should appear on your logo’s precomp. Now your logo animates around the pentagon’s path
