This was a CBS TV Movie .
This shows wat happens when you hang out with the wrong crowd of people
Thanks for uploading these specials. They crack me up. Its strange watching stuff from back in the 70's. Where did all the years go?
I had that hairdo my senior year. Combed out perm
"Here we are" said the first Mrs. George Clooney, Talia Balsam.
Melissa's hair is screaming for moisture! YIKES!
She definitely had the 70's "dry look" down to a tee.
Her hair was so beautiful when she played Mary in the little house movies.
@@NathalieBostrom She had such beautiful blue eyes and long silky, thick golden hair. That was her best look. I loved her as Mary Ingalls.
Actresses from my two favourite shows: Little House and Dr Quinn: Melissa Sue Anderson and Barbara Babcock:) What a joy to watch it
This movie is pure CAMP in 2020, love it!!
This film was pretty much pure camp in 1979, too.
Melissa & Marion were in Midnight Offerings few years later.
Judge Reinhold
Robert Carradine
Talia Balsam
Those baby blues are timeless.
These retro made for tv are such rare classics !! Tubi and RUclips has many of these from the early70’s right up to 2000. These are never shown even in rerun anymore. It’s 2023 now and these are like all the diamonds in the world to me. Rare gems Priceless. Tv like this from the 20th Century doesn’t exist anymore. The networks themselves killed TV as I knew it from 1970-2000. It’s mostly cheaply made reality singing contests desperate attempts at reboots of successful shows from the 70’s & 80’s. And more reality trashEtc etc. I get more enjoyment from watching shows on Tubi & RUclips for free. More value and a lot of great old memories!!!😃👌💕🇨🇦
Rare rare rare, thanks. I read about this in Shock Cinema years ago and have wanted to see it ever since. Love the weird 'Just What I Needed' homage at the beginning! Awesome!
Saw this 20 years ago early 1995 on the now defunct TV station WTBS.
David Hastings I saw this on cable tv back in 1995 on TBS or one those stations.I like the music at 12:55 it was the background music and focus on a gentle, young white female from the late 70s that made this watchable. No screaming or idiocy in these movies but some of the high school kids are still annoying.
dampen damp I agree about the music! Lol, you'd never get away with a scene like that anymore! I'm a big fan of this type of tv movie, they're definitely overlooked today but they were often really heartfelt and wore the emotions on the sleeves, really I'm just a huge hater of snark and that's what it's all about today. I'll just try to keep living in my own little world, that drives people crazy XD
David Hastings By 1990 I couldn't watch any films that were "new" and was glad to start watching obscure retro movies from the 60s and 70s like this in the 1990s when they should have been aired again. Now there is so much on the internet it is hard for me to sit through a movie even a good one. I like these now-unknown movies from the 70s that had to do with the social problems of middle class young people.
dampen damp If there's anything else in this vein on youtube that you like please feel free to share with me! I'm sort of a newbie to the obscure retro tv movie but would very much appreciate any recommendations you have! Recently I started going through my old Shock Cinema magazines and you're right, there's a trove of cool stuff here. Have you ever seen 'Cotton Candy', one of Ron Howard's first directorial efforts, about a high school band- it's amazing! It also has Clint Howard in it which is always a bonus!
April is the cruelest month, breeding lilacs out of the dead land, mixing memory and desire, stirring dull roots with spring rain.--T.S. Eliot
I can't recall seeing this....I was 16 then too. Melissa Sue Anderson and I are the same age. I am stunned at times at how fast that era came and went!!! Incredibly fast. 😮
This is awesome
Thank you
I forgot about tracking the vcr lol
I've NEVER heard of that movie
I remember seeing this when it aired and Talia Balsam playing another bad girl role, but I couldn't remember the name of the movie.
What is this movie about? I never see it before! I love Melissa Sue Anderson one of my favorite actress!
“Here we are” One pixel says to another.
Judge Reinhold looks older than a lot of 32 year olds today.
omg all that hair
Mrs. Cunningham
