On 13 November Step Records will release the debut solo of Rest. After years in the well-known Warsaw team - Dixon37, which resulted in two official albums, the rapper decided to release his own personal material.
"Wiara, Nadzieja, Miłość" is an album driven from an ordinary person to ordinary people. Without stardom, posturing and inflated artificially image - what is increasingly describing today's artists. The words appearing in the title are no mistake - the words that are the essence of universal values ​​known to anyone who is a part of the hip-hop culture.
Listening to "W.N.M." I can deduce that there were better and worse moments in my life. Doing rap does not mean that my life is completely different from the proverbial Kowalski. There are ups and downs but if we accompany them with Faith, Hope and Love, we are able to survive the worst moments and reach our goals - says Rest.
The recording features guest artists from the domestic Hip-Hop scene. However, due to the personal nature of the material, the number of guest artists was well balanced - it allowed to maintain the traditional conventions of solo material, which is undoubtedly the first violin is played by the author.
Musically, the album is a continuation and further development of the well-known sound of the Dixon37 albums. It's quite modern, mixing classic rap with fresh solutions, currently popular in the native hip-hop. Not without reason responsible for the production is the producer Pawbeats.
The author of the graphic design of the album is Tomasz Bojar.
