On the subject of wild boar. There are actual wild boar living in the forest of Dean in on the Welsh English border. People living there have a problem with them ripping up their lawns, etc. A very informative and entertaining Vlog. Thanks Mac.
It's never too late to start horse riding. I first tried at 19, and ended up working with horses for over a decade. You will lean more important concepts then just the riding too.
You certainly getting noticed walking around with the camera,s. Hopefully your subscribers will go up. Very interesting Mac. Ive never been but seems a lot to look through.
Sign them up for equestrian classes! Even if they just learn the basic skills, those will be important skills that can carry into adulthood. Love your content!
My parents insisted I learn how to ride, it wasn't something I have done as an adult, but I think it's good to give kids that experience and option so they can choose from first-hand experience later in life.
Technical point Mac, and a surprising mistake from a farmer! When you ducked out of the rain into a shed, you said: 'Right into the face of some magnificent Highland cattle' What was shown on shot, was certainly NOT their faces! ;-) The other end entirely!
Kids should learn to ride and not be afraid of horses. But with your lot you will have to find a stable with a wide variety of horses, or send the children to two or three different ones.
One's never too old to learn to ride. Perhaps you might accompany those of your children who may like to give equestrianism a try? All my kids, and all but two of my grandsons learned to ride horses before they rode bicycles. Beware, though, bikes, and most other land-based persuits, are far less expensive than keeping a horse, buying tack, livery, and vet bills! Last time I was at the RWS at Llanelwedd was 25 yrs ago. When I was a child, the show was peripatetic, which was very expensive.
I'm guessing that the issue of riding for the kids is logistical? So with 4 of age to go riding, it has to be planned all or nothing? Otherwise, it would seem that the most important thing, indeed the only thing that matters, is not what commentators here feel, or perhaps even very much what their parents feel, but what the kids themselves think and feel, and what they see in front of them!

I love Welsh farmland, something so peaceful and innocent about them

Lovely as always. You guys should have your own TV show!
Yes absolutely get them riding. You're never too old. It's a wonderful pastime. They'll learn so much and get some much enjoyment out of it.

They may have less chickens this year due to an outbreak of bird flu. There are strict regulations at the moment.

Goat manure is the only one that turned my stomach, and the smell of the old battery chicken farms could bleach your nose hairs.
