My brother actually got married in Caerphilly castle all of us were in medieval costume it was a great day, enjoyed your video and hope you enjoyed your visit to South Wales.

I'm definitely going to visit the Tiger yard with my girlfriend, the food looks fantastic. If you go back to the city centre, you should visit the Live Lounge, behind the Cardiff Hilton, very nice food and live artists.

This has been delightful , the English built the castles to oppress us, it's fun for tourists but not for people who were victims of the 'Welsh not' a symbol of don't speak Welsh, not having a go as you obviously care so my sympathy, I'm really not being a bastard, your hearts are in the right place but sometimes it can sound incesistive. Sorry. xxx
@@EvanandLemon Stop with English did this, they did that, everyone on the British Isles were at war with each other going back 3000 years and the Welsh are no exception. The English had to deal with the Romans, the Vikings, the Saxons, the Normans, the Barbarians and many more, so stop moaning.
I don't want to upset you but please don't say that you are Welsh. You are American with Welsh blood. We all have a mixture of many nationalities in our DNA but we can't claim a particular one. There are many Americans who claim to be Irish/American, No, they are not. Having said that, welcome to the UK. That meal looked great.
Welcome to Wales 😀 . Glad you have traced Welsh blood in your ancestry. My mum has been working on her family tree since the 80s, she has also done my dads. We are all born and bred in Wales, mainly from the South and West. Recently had our ancestry DNA done and its been so interesting and have been connecting with people we didn’t know. My dads was probably the simplest one 97% Welsh, 3% Irish lol. Highly recommend getting it done if you haven’t already.

Theres a lovely castle on Anglesey called Beaumaris. In Cymraig, Anglesey is Ynys Mon, and traditionally was the home of the Druids.

Why didn't you take the train? You could have changed trains at Cardiff Queen St and saved yourself the walk down to the Bay.
Anglesey (your ancestral home)is an island not a town - and well worth a visit. You can drive there over two bridges.
