WOW! A huge congratulations they are both stunning I can't wait ti see The Ventriloquist. David F. is also one of my favourite DC artists his work is always amazingly detailed. Congrats again and thanks for the video. 😎👍
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the video and appreciate your support. When it comes to the size sketches, he usually works on standard 9x12 inch paper.
I have always enjoyed collecting artwork that coincides with a particular statue that I have. It brings so much more depth to my collection room. I think your room is fantastic, and only going to get better with artwork on the walls. Great job, Chris!
Thanks so much for your feedback! It means a lot to me. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found inspiration in it. Best of luck with your art collection!
Can't wait to see the Ventriloquist when he's finished. Small suggestion make scans of the art if the unthinkable ever happens and the originals get damaged.
those are awesome man! i saw Finch at Motor City and thought of you, dude was slammed all weekend. headsketches FTW!! your next problem will be when you run out of wallspace lol
This awesome Chris! You have been a big inspiration and the reason I got into collecting statues. Here you are again inspiring to do something similar. I personally love Greg Capullo and would love to do this in his style.
David is such a great artist! Congrats on these phenomenal pieces! David actually visited my country in 2019 during the CCXP germany con. He iffered headshot commissions for 300 euro which was like 320-330$ at the time. Money was tight so i skipped and hoped to buy a commission at another point in time. Big mistake though. No telling when he will be able to attend a german con again. Prices have gone way up too which i'm happy for him to be able to ask for these prices. Yeah, i totally missed the mark on that one. Had an amazing long talk with him and his wife at the con so it was a great experience but it really hurts to have missed out on the opportunity. Should've sold something to make it happen quick. I definitely won't make that mistake again.
Those are both incredible art masterpieces, congrats!! Love the idea of getting many pieces by the same artist. Will definitely look perfect in your batcave. 👍🎉
Finch without a doubt sits on the tabel with all the greatest artist in comic book history. I always liked the way he draws Batman. The project you are talking about is indeed a very good idea. If you start something new then a theme is always a best way to start. And indeed I heard about the prices of his commissions 😱😱. Me personally I love art, without a doubt, I loved collecting art, I still have a few commissions. I sold a few to buy another statue. I stopped with art because I always found it harder to put money down for art then for a statue. But like I said that is just me. Regarding those two Finchs pieces. No extra words needed. This is phenomenal. His Scarcrow was scary creepy good and that two Face is spot on. Gives me a Neal Adams vibe. Congratulations on getting this two stunning pieces mister. You can be very proud on those two 👏💪👍
Massive congratz Chris. These art prints are amazing! David Finch is my favorite artist as well. Since I live in Europe it's hard for me to get those commissions prints but I have quite a few SDCC & NYCC art prints from him which I bought on Ebay and have those framed on my walll as well. His art is just sublime! And yes Chris: you are crazy but the kinda good crazy which we collectors all are and I love it
Chris, those look BAT-mazing my bro! But can I suggest something? In the future… For Barbatos 🦇sake, please wear some kind of gloves when handling your investment!! LOL!! All that white will easily pick up dirty fingerprints after a while! Haha! 😂 ALSO!! Congratulations on realizing your dream Batcave brother! You have NO idea how much you’ve inspired me to step up my collection game, and I’m sure I’m not alone in this thought… I wish you continued success and can’t wait to see what you do next! Now put on some gloves! Haha! 🤓😝🤣
Who needs gloves when you have the power of Bat-tech to clean fingerprints? But in all seriousness, I appreciate your concern and I'll make sure to keep my Batcave spotless. Thanks for the suggestion!
Awesome idea surrounding Batman with his own villains arts! David Finch is a master! Any plans for a future Clayface art? I don't know why, but he's one of my favorite Batman villains. You have a great channel and thanks for making videos of your journey on completing your Batcave. Keep up the aweome videos and may your collection grow beyond your wildest dreams! Cheers!
The presence and power of the original art drawn in black and white, and the story that can be felt in one cut, is wonderful and cool!👍 I am also a collector of original Japanese manga art, so I understand Chris's passion for collecting.😃
What I love about Finch's art is, well except for his excellent line art - cross hatch, use of negative space, etc., is his shadowing. Not a dig on his skill but I thought he was ill-fitting for Avengers Disasembled way back then but was excellent in Moon Knight. Give him a gritty hero and he knocks it out of the park.
Chris, huge ongrats on getting your commissioned prints from Finch! He’s one of my fave artists (esp on Moon Knight). Can’t wait to see your vision of the villains surrounding Batman in its finality. Always enjoy your show! Thanks.
This is so cool! I'm excited for ya, You and Eric B have now got me into collecting real statues instead of PVC ones and now I bought some art prints from Eric so I have a new expensive Batman collection starting lol. Keep up the amazing work
I get the impression your art collection has been limited to commissions. Have you considered collecting original "published' art, which is generally the next step in art collecting? Great commission pickups -- Finch is a consummate Batman artist.
Definitely bane and killer croc. Ivy and maybe catwoman unless she's not villain enough. Riddler as well. If you wanna give the Grant Morrison villains some love (though they are more Dick's villains than Bruce's) you could go for Professor Pyg. I'd also love mad hatter and Hush.
@@BatmanStatueCollector Well if they don't have a handler it tends to be kind of hard. But if they do have one it tends to be a little bit easier you just have to find a gap between when they're not busy working on stuff and when they have the time to do it.
The art is gorgeous. But, you should consider wearing some white cotton gloves (you can find them at stores like Dick Blick) while touching art like this.
You’re going back to the source… the art😉👍. Hope they can swing you some bundle deals 😉🤘🏼
That would be great lol
Awesome! I'm all for this.
❤️❤️❤️🤘🤘🤘
Those are absolutely amazing! His work is so great. Gonna be pricey, but it’ll be fun watching the progress.
Pricy indeed
David Finch art is amazing. You are a blessed man!
Thank you so much for your kind words! David Finch's art truly is incredible and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to share it with all of you.
WOW! A huge congratulations they are both stunning I can't wait ti see The Ventriloquist. David F. is also one of my favourite DC artists his work is always amazingly detailed. Congrats again and thanks for the video. 😎👍
Thanks Jef, it's been so cool to do this project!!!
Great idea!
Hope you get them all!!!
Thank you for your kind words! It means a lot to me.
Awesome Chris, David Finch is the best. Grundy would be nice to see him do. What size are your sketches?

These look amazing Chris, I’m so thinking of selling everything and just keeping my statues and looking at some art.
Thanks so much for your feedback! It means a lot to me. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found inspiration in it. Best of luck with your art collection!
Omg Chris just amaizing good for you man!!
Thanks Mike

Thank you so much
Those are some awesome pieces of comic book artwork! Congrats!
Thanks so much Johnny
Wow. Congratulations 🎉. The line work is incredible 🔥🔥

Great problem to have!!!
Those commission came out amazing! Can’t wait to see all the rouge’s galley together
Me too, can't wait to see the next ones
That's wonderful 😊
Thanks so much

I absolutely love Capullo but he no longer does commissions unfortunately 😔

Great plan, and awesome commissions! I have a Velocity (from Cyber Force) commission by Finch, and I love to look at it. :)
Sounds awesome!! Congratulations on yours!
I Like the idea. I think it’s going to look amazing.
Thanks I'm super excited about it!

I actually like his black and white pen work better than his overall colored versions that are inked by someone else.
@@BatmanStatueCollector Along with Mike Deodato, Tim Townsend, and Jae Lee, it's probably hella fun and a headache to ink their lineart lol
Chris, huge ongrats on getting your commissioned prints from Finch! He’s one of my fave artists (esp on Moon Knight). Can’t wait to see your vision of the villains surrounding Batman in its finality. Always enjoy your show! Thanks.
Thank you so much!!
👍
Thanks as always!
Your killing it with the content atm
Thanks Eric really appreciate that!
Looking forward to see all the ones you get from him. Very cool
Thanks me too lol
Have you thought about getting fan art statues commissioned? You could get characters that we usually don’t get on the statue market.
I have a couple right now, but don't review them on the channel to respect the licensed companies.

I do have 2 pieces of published art, both from the one bad day series!
And you still not have the sanity XM piece Chris? Get it =), and congrats to the amazing art =)
Crazy I don't have it
do it, consider to get it myself, it's great
@@BatmanStatueCollector
Love the art and I don't think you're crazy just curious how much is one picture I understand if you don't want to say

Just got some Finch BatCat signed sent to me
Nice congratulations
Yeah... I love original art but it's hard for me to get most of the time 😕
I didn't realize just how hard it is..
