I had a Giles & Posner soup maker in UK (loaned to family and it burnt out sadly - it was a dream) I’ve had Ambiano soup maker since 2017…. It’s been very useful indeed. I recommend lightly boiling potatoes and pan frying bacon/chopped onion before adding, but the soup maker is being used every single day now. My family say the soup is addictive!
Recipe: 2-3 peeled potatoes; 2-3 peeled carrots, 1-2 onions; 1 whole chilli (green) 4 chicken stock cubes; optional 2-3 rashers of bacon (fry with chopped onion first)
Other veg to substitute carrots: peas; broccoli; cauliflower; leeks; celery; butternut squash; pumkin; mushrooms (fab 😋) NB: soup is more appealing if not brown murky colour - use exclusively either green veg OR golden/orange veg OR creamy veg (mushrooms) . A bit of carrot or pumpkin with green veg comes up zingy electric green/gold colour. No need for cream or dairy - use SMOOTH mode. Serve with hot bread 🥖and bottle Red 🍷

I have a the Murphy Richards soup maker, you can put cold stock up to the max. I would not recommend taking the top off to see how the soup is doing as you are letting heat out.

Thanks for sharing another Aldi product with us, we only have soup when we are out or I’ll 🤔🤪 so we will stick to a tin of Mushroom soup when needed 😆 but we did enjoy watching as we always do, hope the weekend went well for you, take care & enjoy the week ahead 🥰😍xx

Had to replace 2 of these in just over 4 months as the thermostat goes and the soup no longer cooks. Either I'm really unlucky or there is a problem with them. When it did work it was great.
That's a shame )) We haven't had any problems but we don't use it as much as we thought we might :o)

Very cute soup bowl with lid and a plate that is off set for bread. Soup looks great and how easy that seems to be to make it in that soup maker.

Well I had been contemplating getting one of these. But I think I'll stick with saucepan and hand blender to be honest. More gadget clutter I don't need. Plus I can make more than that holds. Thanks for the video though it had convinced me I really don't need one. 👍👍👍

It makes about 6 cups. The bowl and plate we bought in a set of 4 from Costco. We use them a lot. Thank you for stopping by 😊

It’s a neat appliance but I have to say, we prefer the stock pot and blender for soups. We make big portions and freeze for later. Thanks for stopping by 😊

Could you make cocktails ?
It can e used to make smoothies so I guess it's just a case of adding alcohol )) It's not recommended for crushing ice so add your cubed or crushed ice to your drink later :o)
You can buy the similar item way cheaper through Kogan and better quality than Aldi. Our Aldi one broke within a week.

Don't buy it!! It is a gimmick. My sister suggested I buy so I bought one and it doesn't work. It starts then dies. All you need instead is a good hand blender. It is a gimmick product. I am so annoyed that I bought this.
Ours works well but I absolutely agree. A pan and a blender is all you need for delicious soups. We gave this to a friend and went back to the original method. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment 😊
