  • What does it mean to be God’s chosen, holy, and beloved? This sermon explores the profound truth that, in Christ, we are not only forgiven but also adopted as God’s own children, clothed in Christ’s righteousness, and cherished beyond measure.
Drawing from Luke 3:15-22 and Colossians 3:12, we reflect on Jesus’ baptism, where God the Father declared, "You are my Son, the Beloved; with you, I am well pleased." This divine declaration does not stop with Jesus-it extends to all who are in Christ. When we embrace this identity, we are transformed by love, called to live in compassion, kindness, humility, and patience as God’s beloved people.
    🔹 Key Themes:
Jesus’ Baptism: A moment of revelation and divine affirmation.
The Holy Spirit’s Work: No longer reserved for a select few but poured out on all believers.
Our Identity in Christ: Chosen, holy, and beloved-God’s love is unbreakable, unshakable, and eternal.
Living as the Beloved: Resting in God’s love and reflecting it in how we love and serve others.
💡 Takeaway: Before you were born, before you ever did anything to earn or lose love, God loved you. When the world tells you that you're not enough, God’s voice declares, “You are my beloved.”
🙏 Watch, reflect, and be reminded of who you are in Christ.
