Just got my first 12 string, first song, even above Zeppelin, that i wanted to learn. Greatest, and most stunningly beautiful female singer ever. RIP our wonderful Judith! Thanks for such an awesome lesson, rare to have someone tie the guitar in with the actual song.
Great lesson ! Keep them coming. The early sixties, I'd highjacked my Mom's AM radio to my room, and this was popular on the Sacramento stations. This tune popped into my Spotify playlist just lately. Fond memories. And added to my list of songs I have to play. Thanks very much.

I can remember this great song when I was a young lad, this was a great enjoyable lesson ,I never thought I would learn to play this song in my latter years 67. it brings back good memories,I have only been playing guitar for two years and I really enjoy your lessons, thankyou
So many thanks for this lesson So many variations with capo's on various frets but I have seen videos on youtube with them using this version. I am lucky enough to own a Rickenbacker 360 12v64 in Fireglo and the intro and breaks sound amazing. This song and The Seekers will live forever.Looking forward to many more lessons from you Ivor. I like your version. Something I try to do is fill in the additional melody when I play. And yes the 12 string makes the song. Vocals were second to none

I've just seen a terrible tutorial of this song elsewhere (all major chords, which is clearly incorrect). I know it's not always easy to work out the chords when there are several guitars in the accompaniment, which are unlikely to be playing the same tune, but this tutorial sounds just right to me. It at least gives the correct feel of the beautiful original. I tried to work it out myself, and it sounded just okay-ish, but I think I was paying too much attention to the higher parts of the melody.
