How are the international relationships between Norway, Sweden, and Finland? Is it like just going between states in the US, or, is there more international rivalry between the three countries? I've always thought of them as "the same state" in my sheltered status in the US.
Sweden, Finland and Norway are different countries. Not sure what you mean? We (Norway) have an agreement with the other Nordic countries when it comes to traveling (visa-free), and we have an amicable relatonship with them. Other then that we have different policies, cultures, govrnments, languages etc. Aren't you different from Canada and Mexico?
We are definitely not rivals, we have open borders and you can simply just drive into any of the countries in Scandinavia, so I guess it’s like going between states in the U.S
Norway and Sweden are like the US and Canada, we're pretty much sister countries. All Scandinavian countries are friendly towards each others, though, even though the Swedes and Danes have fought a lot of times throughout history.
The accent and manner of speaking in this region is by far my favorite in Norway. I'm expecting a proper "hæstkuk" pronunciation before she leaves the country :P
I love that you are speaking a north Norwegian dialect.
