"Priesthood is the very name of the power of God". 14:18. So what is this "power"? 2:16 what a great lesson. Thank you Elder McConkie for being so brilliantly spiritual. I never would have said that "Priesthood" is the name given for God's very power. Nor understood it to be that. I have only thought of Priesthood as being authority to act in his name for the ordinances of salvation.

The wicked will always cause trouble and It will happen sooner or later just like what it states in the book of Mormon even the Bible over and over again when people pride get in the way of the Lord. When they live for themselves they do without the blessings and the peace of the Lord, then they turned to drugs and alcohol and hate. Repentance is always necessary even for the righteous.
