    bro thanks for uploading this. this is my favorite song.

    Most air raid sirens produce an approximate square wave, with slight imperfections of course. I analyzed an audio clip of a Sentry 10V siren and found its wave to be nearly square.

      @fort pingas Since I wrote that comment over 2 years ago I'm not even sure what my reasoning was, other than that I was specifically referring to mechanical sirens. I know most electronic sirens produce more of a sine tone.

    The beginning minute or so is overwhelmed with dissonance of overtones getting alias-ed down (From limited sampling frequency). Can you re-synthesize this WITH an anti-aliasing filter and upload that ?
    cheers,
    P.

      You're heading aliasing, from when the pitch is so high that it's overtones distort under the Nyquist Ceiling (22 kHz?) sampling rate ( 44 kHz? Here ) and become low-frequeny artifacts.
      I have slides on the topic, if you like...

    Lol, it sounds like CrazyBus title screen theme. As far I know, it uses Texas Instruments SN76489 sound chip (added for backwards compatibility with Sega Master System) which used square wave sound instead of main MegaDrive sound chip Yamaha YM2612 OPN2 which uses 4 operators per channel FM sound with 8-bit PCM sound through integrated DAC (by sacrifice sixth FM channel).

      Is this a joke or is it really working. Im confused

    • @TheCoreh
      @TheCoreh 3 года назад +2

      @@nateflorendo Not a joke. Water resonates at a specific sound frequency. By listening to this (which goes down from a very high frequency to a very low one) the speaker goes through them so at some point the water vibrates and is ejected out. The Apple Watch does a sound similar to this to eject water out of the speakers when you leave underwater mode, there are slow motion videos here on RUclips showing it

      @@TheCoreh when i watch this video my speakers dont vibrate that much but when i use a frequenty app and set it to like 10hz on square my speaker vivrate a lot is it because its different when you watch a video because its not actually a super low frequenty that your phone puts out?
