Best from the entire Bananarama group. Having explored back into the 80s, I never knew Siobhan was the same lady from Shakespear's Sister - wow! I was just a teenager back then! Having spent the last few weeks in listening to some Bananarama old songs, and being nostalgic as I tend to be, I actually wish even as a one-off, they would reform with Shiobhan in - I'd love to hear Robert De Niro for example. I found on here that song was performed on Top Of The Pops Christmas 1984 given the fact that was the same year for the iconic Band Aid single, Feed The World. I also saw a documentary dated 2002 called Smash, and felt that Bananarama on reflection play themselves down. Being a now 30 something, I have to put up with a lot of rubbish coming from today's current chart music. It's all attitude and selling sex than actual music talent. Maybe I have rose-tinted specs. In the meantime, I'll continue to visit memory lane and enjoy some great iconic Bananarama :-)

Siobhan is being so nice & gracious here. Amazing she didn't say something sarcastic when one of them said Bananarama was the only "proper girl band". She just politely corrected them and mentioned the Shangri La's and the Supremes as being proper predecessors of the girl bands. Loose Women? Foolish, Silly Women is more like it.
She was 34 when Stay by SS was in the charts. Looking at the live footage she looked about 20 when she was 34 and about 34 in her mid 50's.

Holidayin germany Who has hits in today’s music biz? If you’re not part of Cowell’s manufacture musak machine, forget it. Siobhan does it from the heart and THAT is what connects with audiences. The gold disks were never anything more than PR (and they weren’t gold).
