I ever read, dog can know your emotion not only from your expression but also from your smell. The chemical released from your body when you have emotion

She’s beautiful and has such patience. My dog is very always hyper and jumping on me but it’s because he’s not a service dog or anything, but he helped me realize that even if there are sad days and bad moments happening to me, always know I can have a way out of that hole I’m trapped in and that life can be beautiful. Dogs are so intelligent and so are cats and every animal out there.

I suffer from ptsd but not military ptsd. I was molested by a man from ages 11-16. I’m constantly on edge when I see a man, relationships are hard with me because I also have ptsd in relationships I was mentally and physically abused. So like just the general public scares me I don’t go out much I do have a cat and a dog my recent dog passed and that really took a toll on me. We ptsd people are constantly on edge and come off aggressive we don’t mean to. Panic attacks definitely don’t help. I’m scared of men in general. And certain things a man does that the man molested me did triggers me.
Like wrestling. Or certain sentences or words. Or actions. I get triggered and kinda just freeze in time like space out. It’s hard. And I hope
This man and pupper make it through.

This is great but unfortunately this doesn’t help them overcome their issues/ it’s still avoidance and the problems will still be there just as triggering
