I'm so happy I've known about this song way before “Power book 2 : Episode 5”. But lemme tell you, when I heard this song in power I felt like Jacob is my brother, I felt so proud of him. If you paid attention to the songs in the Power Universe, you've prolly noticed the series been using a lot of songs by Jacob Banks, that just shows how insanely talented he is.
It was used way before Power Book 2 it was used also when Ghost was arrested by Angela. Purely genius

On season 7, gets better and better. The songs chosen hit you in the heart. I am a 46 year old man going through marital disharmony for years, started crying uncontrollably last night when I heard this song.
Recently was put on to Jacob Banks and to say I'm a fan and soon to be an air conditioner would be an understatement. I've noticed that all of the actors in his videos are exceptional at what they do. The portray of emotions are expressed with so much depth. I often feel as if I'm peeking into their window and it real. Shoutout to everyone involved in bringing these masterpieces to the screen.

When the video started, it seemed ambiguos; didn't know what was really happening. But the story was developing. And I saw how the father couldn't open up; seemed afraid or uncertain on how to start the conversation. I can only guess that it is a painful discussion about his mother. Maybe she left them unexpectedly in death? Whatever happened, they're both hurting. And I couldn't finish wathcing after the son's first move! Deep. Touching. Thank you.
