I actually purchased this very phone from you and I cannot complain about it's performance. absolute beast in it's operation and storage. nice doing business with you and great review on this product. i purchased it off of this very review, then to actually get this very phone is amazing
Steel dust proof? Don't know if you'd have any way of knowing this, but i can't find a closeup pic or a description of how the dust-proofing of the mic and speaker works, so i thought i'd try ask. My particular concern is ferromagnetic dust. Steel dust. So not magnetic itself but attracted to magnets. Magnets like you get in speakers. I'm sure that the dustproofing will work to stop this dust getting into the internals of the phone. But my concern is that the 'iron filings' will still gather on / over / at the speaker and affect it. If the dustproofing is a membrane close to the outside of the phone i could clear the buildup. But if there's a deep recess that the dust is actively sticking inside of then i'd be as screwed with this dustproof phone as any other. Do you know how they accomplish the dustproofing? Are you able to see the speaker / workings / seals? Cheers.
Nice phone. Cool review. Only thing I don't like about this phone is the words waterproof and shockproof etched out in such huge letters on the sides. Could have been better if they left that bit out. Still looks and feel more cool and tough than the blackview bv9600pro.
Very nice video! Could you do a follow up video of jean pocket testing or putting it side by side with a normal phone like iphone plus, samsung note etc. to get a feeling of the size of it?
I have an Armor 6 but it will not let a tethered or hot spotted device connect to the internet. This is an Android 8.1 issue but seems impossible to solve so let's have the Pie update already.
Hi! We just got one of these phones and was wondering if was able to make Wi-Fi calls? And if so how do you enable it on the phone? We tried looking it up, but haven’t found any answers. Any help you could provide would be appreciated!
You have outdone yourself. I didn't really know about these type of phones but then I got really pissed off because the battery is always died on these other phones I have the ulefone power 5 even though I know it doesn't work with 4G LTE is still awesome phone now that I know about these and they will work with 4G LTE very excited thanks for all the videos you do keep up the good work
@@eitanyochanan8586 Okay here's the link, but just to warn you they are a bit goofy, but they are great at destroying stuff ruclips.net/video/IplE_i5KMjw/видео.html . But, if jerryrigseverything eventually uploads his video of this phone, you should watch it since he's a master at durability tests XD
I was searching for a phone with large battery and can be projected to a TV/Monitor via MHL as an on the go PC. If anybody can confirm if Armor 6 or Power 5 supports MHL over usb-c.
I ordered 5 Ulefone Armor phones earlier this year. One of them suffered cracked glass in the first month and my 6E didn't stand up to slight exposure to water. Their support staff said the phones are NOT water proof (even though it's advertised and stamped on the side of the phone). They wanted me to send phone over seas and charge me for repair. Trying to tell their support staff that our US state has laws against false statements and the penalty they may suffer is like talking to a wall. I assume THEIR cost to produce is probably under 150 US dollars - But they stand to lose thousands by not honoring their advertised claims. It's my opinion that they lack common business sense and they don't appear to act in good faith. When the phone worked - It was amazing! But we have failed to realize the claims they have made regarding durability and waterproof features. It's my opinion that these phones are NOT durable.
these flaps are the problem of this cell, because when opening and closing it wears out and the water ends up entering, I am much more the BLack view bv 9600pro that does not use flaps
Most of the lower cost Chinese phones will not support Sprint or Verizon. They are set up for the same type of networks that AT&T and other providers in the US use because those are the same type of networks most of the rest of the world uses. Sprint and Verizon use their proprietary network to keep you chained to them for service. If you are interested in using lower priced Chinese phones you should consider getting away from Sprint. I used them for almost 20 years and finally realized they are a huge scam. I have had four different Chinese phones now using AT&T network and am happy I finally got away from the scam that is Sprint.
I was the same way. And it took me a year to get up the nerve to do it, but it is the best decision I have made tech wise ever! I no longer have contracts or make payments. I pay $55/month for ATT service on their prepaid plan. Like I said I have had 4 phones: 2 Huawei, 1 Doogee and 1 Xiaomi. The MOST I have paid for a phone is $240. And all of them work on ATT network. It is so liberating and I would never go back. The reason I found this vid is because I want to buy a waterproof phone next and am comparing all the least expensive options
Thank you very much. Any other time I've asked about how to switch the comments are less then constructive...... I'm thinking of switching to att or cricket wireless
Hi. Great video...but...About the Ports of the phone that have rubberized covers...you are gonna open these covers ...let's say 50 times...it will break or cut or loosen...so bye bye IP68 ability... For that money, the ports should NOT HAVE BEEN COVERED... Yes,i know the WIRELESS CHARGING abilit,y, like the Armor 5, but again, the ports of Sd card, sim cards etc...can loosen by usage...
i disagree. I've had the Armor 2 for over a year and i open the type-c cover multiple times per day as i always listen to music on my headset. The cover is as good as when it was new, didn't break, didn't loosen and it still seals perfectly. Unless you're intentionally trying to break it, or simply are clumsy, i doubt u will have an issue.
Yes it will work using Verizon. However, there are some features that will not work well. Example: I am having issues with notifications. When a text message is sent to you and you have installed the Verizon's texting app, the text messages will not appear until you open the app. People could be texting you all day and you will not know because you are not getting notified. Until you open the texting app and then all the text messages will start to pour in. The same thing with company emails; I do not get notified of any new emails until I open the app. I already contacted Verizon about this issue. They did some troubleshooting but it only worked for like one minute and then it went back to not notifying me at all. I have not called them again or been by one of their stores to see if they can remedy this issue. In order for you to get the notifications in real time, you have to use the phones default apps. Whenever someone calls you, using the phones default app, the calls will come through without any issues. I already went over in great detail about the notification settings and it seems to work better with the phones default apps. Hope this helps you out in making a decision.
Because of stupid Apple-. Every other tech company copies everything Apple does, whether or not it's actually beneficial. The notch is a horrendous design, I can't believe people would copy something like that if there's no reason to.
In my opinion, the Armor 3 is a better phone. They cut the battery in half for this, and added the ridiculous looking notch. There's no reason for this phone to have a notch, other than Ulefone (and others) want to copy Apple's design so it makes their products look "Premium". What horses**t! Get the 3 instead.
By any chance is this a re-shell or a re-named Huawei phones? If the US banned Huawei, just change the body, slightly change the software, and change the box, and don’t forget RENAME THE PHONE.
I don't need to know more about ulefone. When I bought one, the only impression has shown me the reality: Chinese brands offer many things about megapixels, battery, etc as distraction. But they are SO FAR FROM REAL QUALITY! Pieces of junk...
Well my Chinese piece of junk phone Oukitel K10 still works like a charm for one and a half year already, I paid €225 for a phone with still great specs! Never had any issues with it comparing to the Samsung and Apple iPhone of this world...
Why the fack do people care about a headphone jack unless you are Fred Flintstone. If you do not have bluetooth then you dont deserve this phone and perhaps a Fisher Price phone is more for you. Also, this is a phone dedicated to men and i dont think most women want this type of phone and if you are like a little girl about the camera pixel rates maybe you need to get your sexuality sorted out. I do not know or heard of any friends, family or dudes worried about the camera on the phone. Never will, never would hear a grown ass man talk about the cameras. Now stop being gay and snap out of it people.
For the past 18 months I been using armor 2, and it is outstanding, can't wait to get armor 6.
I also wanna a armor 6 haha.
The armor 2 i used for a long time and maybe the armor6 have something improved and a tiny improvement makes me feel so happy.
I actually purchased this very phone from you and I cannot complain about it's performance. absolute beast in it's operation and storage. nice doing business with you and great review on this product. i purchased it off of this very review, then to actually get this very phone is amazing

what is the exterior like? ruberized or plastic/metal. Hard to hold onto? slippery or easy to hold?

Didn't expect the camera to be this respectable
Looking at either this or the armor 3T, was trying to find comparison of the 2.

Which model would I need for the United States? I see the European Union version, and non-EU version.

How is this compared to agm x3?
Sold my note 9 and got me an Armor 6 phone and I’m not complaining
does it work well in the united states?
Will this work on Verizon ? And what bands please be detailed. Thanks
Could you do a series of test on its durability? Drop at many times? cold and hot? submersion in water?
The water jet channel kind of did that

Love the channel... Did you say you dropped the Amor 3 and it broke?

Hey mate,
I have a question about the email. Do you get email notifications?
Will it work on Indian sim
Is this useable in the U.S.?
Is this supports 5G?
Were can you order. The Armour6. Office. Depot. Or wal-mart

Yes
The thing you could not say is an ultra violet sensor.

Will this phone work with Sprint? I'm very interested in having something rugged and not main stream

Ok thank you. I'm just starting to learn about all this, I always just picked a phone a carrier had.

There are other networks even cheaper using ATT towers. But I travel enough that it's worth the extra 10 bucks a month to me to never be off network.
