I have dealt with Ti39. I have had only good experiences with them. They are very responsive. Purchased a titanium stem for my 2019 Superlight from them. Great experience.
I have bought 20" comeplay triangle and fork. I'm aiming for a woodland/gravel path bike I can get on the bus. I weigh 55kg. Here's hoping the bike isn't a wet noodle!
I have seen notes that the eastern titanium frames may not be strong enough to hold a heavy European? But I have bought a lot of titanium and carbon parts for my 2019 Superlight, now weighing below 9 kilo, as a similar T-line with mudguards! And for a much lower price! Finn. Denmark
They don't need to. They have people buying their bikes regardless. They are a brand that is overrated for what they are. That's why I never bought one.
The Ebay seller in this video, Ti Atom, I have found to be shady. He has sold items he did not have in stock, forcing me to open a dispute because he would not issue a refund, and the very frameset listing you were looking at on Ebay will not allow me to send questions to the seller. I have contacted him via other listings in his store with questions about THAT Titanium frameset listing you were looking at and he never responded, not once in 8 questions I sent to him. BEWARE THIS SELLER TI ATOM!!!
Yes, the biggest problem with the Chinese stuff is that you don't know what exactly you get. Luckily, eBay, Etsy and other big platforms support the buyer very well.
I built a Brompton-like bike too, made by Tianium and Aluminum . 74-112 fork. Disc break. whole bike is 6.9KG. Just spent US1300.
Would love to see pics.
Woah, 6.9kg are some of the best numbers I have seen for a price like that. Any chance you could share the frame you bought?
Is it possible you share the list of all the components you have? I would like to build a dream bike for myself 😊
Aluminum frame: RMB2500
Tianium fork 74-112 forks: 3800
Sram disc break set : 700
7-speed gear system(with shimano shifter): 800
Rim and Schwalbe tires: 1000
Others: 1000
All is RMB.
@@Mike-so4fg thank you very much for the details. I'm def gonna check it out 🙏🙏
Would titanium save more weight over aluminium frame?

Thanks for the info.
I actually emailed the seller on the eBay titanium bike. You will just get the main frame, fork, triangle, and stem for $2200. Still not a bad deal.

That stuff is pretty cheap. Good luck with it and let us know how it goes!
For flat road n usual light riding okay. But on the reverse sight.... then u hv to get the real one. That goes with any 3rd parties.....

I ride a cheap cheap fake Dahon clone and it's more* solid than my genuine crmo frame Dahon

Some of the Brompton clone riders will say the same thing.

Brompton really missing a trick here. They just can't be bothered to develop the product.

Ebay is terrible to deal with. They will let you get screwed over.
I agree... especially if you are a seller.
