This video is obviously a love letter to the series. Not just the first three seasons but the WHOLE story and world of these characters. I think that’s beautiful considering people often get caught up in what the show “was” or “could have been” as opposed to finding joy in what the show has become. People often reject the modern trends of spongebob including the new characters and art style but this video embraces it and uses it to its full potential
Honestly, not all modern episodes are terrible. I'd say it's about half good and half bad episodes in the current seasons. Also, I'd say that they are fully committing to the more animated, slapstick style of humour that the show aims to do in its newer seasons. Its aware that it can't be as cleverly written as the older episodes, but to prevent it feeling stale like in the middle seasons, it's trying a new approach with comedy, and while it's not always funny, it's commendable that the show is showing effort again

This genuinely looks like an animatic from modern SpongeBob in the best way possible, with the zany expressions and expressive movements of the characters. I love how you used so many of these iconic characters that we all know and love, even the minor background characters, and that ending is very powerful. You perfectly captured everything that I love about the show and created a beautiful masterpiece. Fantastic job!

i really like how the people from bikini bottom get into songs so quickly sometimes, like in "very first christmas to me" and "thank gosh it's monday" this really captures it, like in how with just a few verses everyone is already smiling (especially larry), it feels a world of cartoon characters, that will go down dancing and being silly as always

This was wonderful! It was funny, cute, and surprisingly touching. I literally had tears in my eyes at the end. I especially loved Squidward's reactions throughout the whole thing! What would have put the whole thing over the top for me is if they'd have shown the bubbles showing that Sandy's machine had worked to neutralize the volcano. I didn't really see Plankton, though. Was he in there? I love how it showed the different familiar characters, and how they're all at one point doing a conga line outside a highly-irritated Squidward's house, and he comes outside looking ready to yell at them - and starts singing too! They're all hugging him and he actually enjoys it! Added a touch of sweetness to an already wonderfully whimsical video of one of the saddest songs in the musical. Good job!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
