Allan is such a real and humble guy and I believe one of the top vocalist in rock n roll. I’m still listening to the Hollies and so many of their songs are timeless classics. As an American, to me the British Invasion was the greatest time in music. ❤️🎶

Allan Clark ist für mich einer der Besten Sänger die es je gab auf der Welt.
Ich wünsche ihn alles Gute und das er noch einige Jahre unter uns ist.
Ein Leben ohne die Musik der Hollies könnte ich mit nicht vorstellen.

Er hat nie abgehoben und ist immer Bodenständig geblieben genau wie seine Freunde von den Hollies.
Schade das ich ihn nicht mal kennen lernen durfte, das war immer ein Traum von mir Allan und die Band Mitglieder kennen zulegen.

Fantastic. I never heard the early Hollies history that detailed. The Hollies are the most underrated Brit Group of the 60s. Only The Beatles did that Mersey/Pop rock better. Allan, was also, along with Paul Jones , the most uderrated Brit Invasion vocalist!
Thanks Steve, glad you enjoyed the episode! I have to agree, I'm glad that Allan & the band have been recognised for all there achievements being inducted into The Rock'N'Roll hall of fame! It's not until you look closer and realise just how many hits they've had. From 1963 through to the mid-70's, the Hollies had more hits than even the Beatles. In that period alone, they had 18 Top ten hits! Truly incredible 🤯

I was jusr thinking about the Hollies today and how wonderful Alan's voice is. Like an emotional violin. It has beautiful, lyrical movement.

I have to say that Holly's are one of my best best one of my favourite groups of all time I don't like everything they done but most of what they've done especially the hits I absolutely fantastic
