Upon hearing the opening chords I thought, 'Oh no, not an acoustic song...' But on first listen I love it. Ditto with the Ramones cover 'I Just Wanna Have Something to Do', which I though would be tedious. But no, it too is great.
At this point I realise that I should never doubt what Garbage does. I look forward to getting both those tunes as pare of the expanded anniversary edition of 'Bleed Like Me', a great album that deserves more listeners.

NCW is truly one of my favorite Garbage songs (like top 3) and when I heard it 18 years ago - it resonated with me just like "Medication" did for the first.
The lyric I change when I hear/sing it is - "and the [prince] never did [show] up". Damn, Disney planting that expectation.
So happy NCW is getting some attention from y'all. It's like Radiohead's little sister version of "No Surprises" ❤
