Mountains are a great place to vacation! They have lots to offer and a lot of them have national parks too. I think thats great that you take all the kids on vacation they are going to remember that :)
I love all your tips and tricks, many of which this momma has used successfully in the past. One that I often share is to (as finances allow) set a specific amount for each kid to have for treats and souvenirs. When we went to Disney, I actually made up bank envelopes for each child, for each day. If they didn’t spend their money one day, they could carry it over to the next. At the time my youngest had just turned 5 and oldest was 15. This helped them learn budgeting and setting limits, as well as delayed gratification and sometimes sad consequences if they spent it too quickly.
I love that you separate their clothes in one case. I make the mistake of packing them all together and then having to go all the way through it to sort each of their clothes when we get there x
My future plans are to move to Florida for - -many reasons - to enjoy the sun - one being going to the beach for free as a day vacation . We are happy just playing in the water . . 2- being able to visit all the historical monuments and buildings. 3- going to the parks and having picnics .
I will have do the song activity on our long drive to the cabin we are renting for a week this summer. My husband loves those eggs. I think one benefit of the pandemic was for the first time ever without practices and extra curricular activities, we slowed down and made memories like I have from the 80's/90's - afternoons filled with bikes and sprinklers and long walks meandering around. It was a blessing for us to have those sweet moments.
It’s soo important to make memories with your kids! We try to make as much family time as possible! It’s fun to see big families hanging out together. We homeschool so we are always looking for quick educational outings 😊
I have an international trip with 5 kids coming up. I'm American in Australia, we're going to see family on the east coast, driving the I95 seeing everyone. I'm worried about how to get to the airport. We'd have to take the train here. That's a lot to take. Any tips?
We are prepping for our big trip out west with our 5 kiddos. Pray for us to survive. 🙏🙏 Thanks for the tips!
Sending prayers!

I’m not sure. I would think a taxi would
Be better to get a ride to the airport.
