You can style it with a brown belt or sandals and a basic jean + t-shirt outfit in summer and it would still look gorgeous and i feel it's one of those bags that can zhuzh up a simple black monochrome outfit. Your current black bag is lovely and should be able to be buffed and restored at a leather/shoe repair shop. If that is an option for you ‐ keep the beautiful tan bag.

I have the same Mulberry Zipped Bayswater in chalk and it's a lovely bag to use. Whilst the black is more serviceable, you seemed more drawn to the tan. I have never worn my crossbody but think it's a lovely, chic, underrated designer bag. You won't regret either xo

Brown happens to highlight and bring out more of the bag’s sculpture lines and all the little details so it has more depth somehow and personality. Where’s black in comparison looks like another beautiful “standard” and “common” bag. It might feel like a departure from a well known established and comfortable pattern but it was obvious that you are drawn more to the brown bag: )

I almost always end up buying the black versions of bags and shoes because of practicality but if you have brown pieces that match with the tan bag, I might go for that. Just because black is more like a winter colour (although it matches with everything) while tan is more like an all year round colour that can be worn with white linens and similar shoes, belts, etc. in the summer perfectly.
Im a basic girl and will choose black, 99% of the time...But this Tan brown...LOVE it! I will choose the Tan one if I was you, the black looks a bit "boring" if you know what I mean :P

I like the brown, it’s rich and beautiful. It’s funny you call it “tan”. I’m from Jamaica, tan would be the description of your door frames behind you or the colour of your skin tone (i.e. your tanned complexion). 😊 I must also mention, you doing your Mommy’s hair brought me to tears. It’s such a blessing to take care of our mothers as they did us, as children.

The black bag for sure. It's more classic and the leather looks richer if you know what I mean. Now the brown looks great with the blazer but I still prefer the black. Keep both. 😀 Also, take golf lessons and tell Lew to practice his follow through. 😉 I used to teach golf.
