This classification of portable airs is incredible, in particular I have used the Honeywell HL10CESWK and I found it very good, I would have to try the others, excellent work, I liked it a lot
I have the LG IVSM portable AC unit. The only gripe i have about it is that it emits a high pitched squeal noise on low fan or sleep mode. I will say its the quietest AC out there on the market. To combat this high pitched noise, use a medium to high density foam on the right side of the unit to cancel most of it out. FYI, many people cannot even hear it but i can :(
I don't know if anyone noticed the feature of the B&D aircon at 4:49 - 75db noise on high for a peaceful sleep" - that's as loud as a vaccum cleaner, toilet flushing or barking dog, according to google searches. Sounds like an mechanical nightmare to me!
Is it noisy? I've Honeywell Mn10Ces, its good but noisy. Ok to on it and watch movie in my family room. But when I shift it into my small study room, the noise and vibration is really disturbing when I need to work. I'm looking for another portable aircon that must be as quiet as possible. LG seems impressive in this review. Good review indeed.
I bought it 2 months ago, it is very efficient, it cools the room quickly, both the indoor and outdoor units are quiet, it looks pretty good on the wall. I am very satisfied with the purchase, the price was quite good,
heeey this top is very good, very interesting for those of us who are looking for a portable air conditioner, very informative, I hope you continue uploading similar content
That's my thoughts too. Also the windows don't seem to sit as far off the ground as mine. I've been using "portable" a/c's for many years in my bedroom. My unit sits on a 3 ft tall table, and the hose still has quite the bend which hurts the efficiency. Not to mention the adaptor plastic window piece isn't long enough (leaving a horrible 3-4 inch gap on top. Not the best set up, but cheaper than running the entral a/c.
You fail to mention the black and decker has 3 filters and the 2 condenser filters have to be taken out with screw that nothing fits it to turn it. So every week you have to un screw it if you can to clean those filters. No other unit has this. This is not a user freindly unit. Buyer beware!!!
I have 2 issues with this video. First, how can you name this best in 2022 when the video was made 2 years ago? More importantly, not once did you mention the water output in any of these models. One of the biggest complaints about portable A/C's is the water output. Some have buckets that fill up and then you remove them to empty the water. Some don't have that and you have to run a hose outside your home for continuous drain. I actually have an older model that recycles the water and I never have to drain/empty the water until the end of the season. Why aren't the newer models designed this way? What good is an A/C if it's going to cut off (going into fan mode) every few hours because the water bucket is full? Then when you get home it's hot as hell in your place! Makes no sense.
Soooo all these portable A/C units have to be vented outside thru a window?? That's not portable! And why don't the others list the decibels--75 on the BD is LOUD! no thanks. Maybe the Honeywell for us but again I don't want to vent it outside....can someone offer assistance with this? Thank you.
Excellent explanation to know a little more about TOP 5 Best Portable Air Conditioner in 2020, how good to be able to find a video that provides the results you need, now I will be able to choose the best one and buy it, thanks to your information, I can see that you are investigating the topic to present the essential details, that is very good, you dedicate yourself to the topic, good contribution
A/C isn't a cheap way to cool period. But although there is the inital investment of aprox $400, I can save most of that over a Summer of not using my central a/c (and I ive in an apartment).
I think portable air conditioner has some major flaws. First, people never want to move it around. Second, connection pipe sucks. They all use cheap or poor pipe that creates leaking or loosing problem. Third, noise could be annoying. If these manufacturers cannot solve these problems, it's better to get something else.
The window adaptors are my biggest complaint, followed closely by the cheap hoses that break, arent as flexible as I need, and put out a lot of heat. I guess I'm the odd bird, as I don't mind the unit noise, as it drowns out the outside city noises.

I have Honeywell at home and I am very satisfied. It does the work without a problem and its better than the others which I have also tried.
I have a LG portable air conditioner and it's good in a small room. Plus I would suggest keeping the door closed as well to contain the cool air.
This classification of portable airs is incredible, in particular I have used the Honeywell HL10CESWK and I found it very good, I would have to try the others, excellent work, I liked it a lot
#4 has some bad reviews on amazon.
My vote goes to Honeywell HL10CESWK, yet each and every item from this rundown is A quality item.

Your post is confusing. These don't hang on a wall and there is no outdoor unit.
What kind did you buy? All your post says is that you bought "it" 2 months ago.

I’ll never understand why they don’t include a insulated exhaust hose. I just but Flex Duct from Home Depot.
I agree, there is a lot of heat coming off those exhaust hoses.

Why do they always have up and down opening windows in these videos?
That's my thoughts too. Also the windows don't seem to sit as far off the ground as mine.

do these worl for horizontal windows? every video shows these tiny windows
Thanks Very Much
Will this a/c cool a room ??
Some will do the job
Sure if you get the right one for the size of space you're cooling.

Due to how a a/c works it needs to release hot air. If you don't vent it to outside your space won't cool off, and it'll overwork the system.
You made it easy for me to make a choice man, thanks
Prize list?
Since when is 75 db quiet? That's equal to a vacuum cleaner.

Great
3 air conditioners show up the other 2 not found
For god sake‘s I’m trying to find a cheap air conditioner $350 not my idea of cheap

Don't watch. All but #5 aren't even available on Amazon anymore.
Single hose portable A/C should be banned for inefficient.
A video for 2023 posted 2 years ago🤔🤔
I had to chuckle at that. Reviewing for 2023 products in 2021?
Budget home my ass, this are expensive af
NO .too expensive
Although they are pricey, they will save you money from not running your central a/c.
Great, thanks for sharing this
