Why I don't crate my Dogo Argentino and should dog crates being banned because they are abusive? Here is my reasoning why I don't use dog crate.

no they are not abusive. My rescue Malinois does rest in his open crate most of the time BUT if I've people with small kids comming in I'll either have to lock him in another room or ask to get into the crate and spend few hours there close to us. OTHERWISE even chance is quite low - he might simple bite the face off other kid if mine suspects kids is doing harm to my kids. No training can prevent my dog for being protective towards family members. He's definitely not the "sweatest boy ever" as his first year of life was spent on the chain and he missed all the socialization that is a must for Malinois. So what would be your options? Locking him away or maybe putting to sleep as he's not as "friendly" as woke society expects him to be because of his past abuse? Now we were able to save an amazing dog by keeping everyone around safe as it's impossible to force other kids to act perfectly fine around auch dog. It's really dumb to generalize all the dogs by just a few samples.

Hey I think you didn’t listen at all or just comment based on a title :) I said crates are good :) I don’t crate but I see a lot of benefits of crating . Sometimes I wish my dog was crate trained for the same reason like yours , when my kid’s friends come over I have to give her to my parents in law because she can’t be trusted
