I have these and it does seem that voices aren’t really better but the reduced suction feeling makes it easier to understand people and it feels like surroundings almost over power the music which makes it feel a lot better to me.
Please review the Status Audio 3ANC...they are by far my favorite tws and have ungodly blissful sound... TY 😊
Just got my Ear (a)'s yesterday and they had an update. I have the Google buds A as well as the Pixel buds pro and the Ear (a)'s blow both of these out of the water. Best sounding earbuds I've had in years at a good price.

Quick question, would they be a good upgrade to the Sony XM3s? I love them but 45 min of listening and I need to charge them and take a brake from ear discomfort getting to high is getting real annoying after a few years.
I am only worried about noise canceling, I love the quiet and that is honestly the only category that is a true dealbraker if worse. The rest seems better or good enough I guess.
What about Huawei Freeclip and Oppo Enco X2 Pro. Could you make a comparison and rank it??

Mainly mid range clarity and separation. Pro 2 is more v shaped with a slightly wider sound stage.

Hello. I am new to Nothing and I want to purchase the Nothing Ear. Is the sound quality really good as they say and is it loud? I have the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 and Beats Studio Buds Plus. Is the Nothing better than the two? Thanks.

Did you also have an inconsistent experience with ANC on the ear and ear (a)? Andrew From team MKBHD said the ANC was very inconsistent but work well when it works
I have not noticed anything. I do have the ANC set to strong not adaptive and the large ear tips fit me well
I was hoping for a much bigger update for the transparency mode for these but alas i think they really need to improve in this area for the next generation as other than really loud external noises, everything seems a bit too muffled.

I am doing a lot of calls, teams etc so good call quality is important.
But most importantly I am very sensitive to occlusion effect and hate hearing myself when calls in an unnatural way and feel “stucked” due to the in ear.
I work in a very noisy office ( good anc with high freq noise cut out is necessary as a result )
I do a lot of gym, running, hiit ( very good anc, no occlusion again would be good )
What would you reconmend to cover these all?

Share some dope Eq settings on this Nothing ear. Just got them but don’t have any idea how to Eq them.
I haven’t needed to use it honestly. The hearing test does it for me. Play around with the strength of that and it might work for you
if you want to know how to EQ, you first have to understand that every ear is different in terms of resonancy points. EQ is a possibility to simulate your outer ear and make everything sound natural. you can't learn it by copy pasting, you need to watch a tutorial about it, to find out what peak frequencies you are subtle to. it is a way to sculpt the sound signature to fit more naturally into your ear. this means airy highs, perfectly pronounced mids and unbloated, snag bass. no headphone you ever wore sounded right until you EQ them to fit your ears entirely, when you master it. it's not really a matter of headphone, rather basepoints of frequency response.
My left bud slips out. Anyone tried any other ear tips with the Nothing ear?

I love the transparency mode in oneplus buds 3. Only improvement needed is the occlusion. I want to hear my own sound better. So in terms of occlusion, which is better ?. I'm planning to buy nothing ear.
The ear has slightly less occlusion. The clarity is slightly better on the buds 3 though

They really should have called them the ear 3, it's going to be really confusing if all future versions are called "The Ear".
The naming scheme is a little confusing, is the Nothing Ear newer than the Ear (a)? and where does the Ear 2 fit?

bought 3 for 150 e, updated, the sound is crap, anc is buggy, the bass is bad, there are no mids... I'm returning it to the store
Idk how Nothing Ear is better than Airpods pro. Nothing Ear has horrible noise cancelling. Airpods has very good noise cancelling
The Airpods do have better ANC
meh wouldn't say horrible its pretty good compared to every other earbud currently in the market. the Airpods is just 15% better with an extra $100 pricetag for it. For most consumers the Nothing ANC is fantastic for the price
