    Thank you for the great videos! We're trying to learn Thai so we can speak with Khun Yai better when we visit her in Songkhla.
    We have noticed though that "gin kaao" seems to also be a popular greeting. It's always the first thing Khun Yai and her friends say to each other :)

      Is pretty common greeting in Asian countries. Asking have you eaten yet? as a greeting. The full is gin khao rue yang. Have you eaten or still ( will eat)? . It gets shortened to gin khao

    Try to soundproof the room - the echo is terrible. try use "Acoustical Panels" ... or some fabric curtains on the walls...

    One thing that I don't understand about these Thai tutorials is the following. The translation is supposed to be how we English speakers would pronounce the phrase or word. Yet in the translation there are letters that are not pronounce different or silent. For example if I was to teach how to pronounce the Spanish word bella I would write it as beya with short e.

      No, "What's up?" and "How's it going?" are completely different. You should just say "phom-bpen-bpanyaa-awn" for greetings.

      There is actually not consistent udecof Thai pinyin it's not like Chinese, everyone can write it differently

    I dont agree with losing the rolling r, its not alai, its arai, i dont like its easier, i like more difficult, life and education should be, it makes it more rewarding when you master it, thats for your young aswell as me.
