Most of these artist have song writers and the only reason the artist are first on the list of writers on their albums is because they're paying for the lyrics and usually ask to be given credit as part of the deal. Selena Gomez, Camilla Cabello, Shawn Mendez, Rihanna, and Beyonce music are mostly of music written by SIA, Julian Michael, and Charli XCX, PartyNextDoor along with dozens of Swedes like Max Martin and RedOne who are responsible for basically producing and writing every popular song in the 21 century. What they do is make reference track which has the producers vocals on the track and they'll give it to the labels who will have their artist do a cover the track to see if it would be a good fit for the artist.

Her genre range live is interesting she reminds you of someone but you don't know who. This interview is the "go back to" interview to pinpoint her growth her next 5 albums which will come with time. Her writing is wayyyyyyyy ahead of it's time. I know people said things about her colorism but she is a cross between a lot of different artists. Every female artist that mentions they listen to jazz or bossa nova between 12 and to the time they are found have this amazing range they know how to fall into their music well.

I completely agree! It's honestly irritating when people say she is racist over "old posts". Based on this interview she said she was an 'unhappy person' prior to moving to LA during that point in time. We all make changes. We all make mistakes. We all learn from those experiences. Given her controversial and overall prejudice old posts in the past she's clearly not like that now so why hold that against someone who has grown since then and learned from her experiences. Some people need a change of environment to really understand who they were/are on their journey. Racism is taught it's not inherited people can change but of course memories don't. She makes great music and I am not changing anything. ♥️
