The Premier League should make playing a low block illegal. If for no other reason than to piss off all the insufferable English fans who keep baying for teams to do nothing but park the bus. I’m afraid Lee has gone down massively in my estimation after this one. Sam is completely right when it comes to Spurs. A makeshift 3rd choice defence, and everyone hysterically calling for Ange’s head because he didn’t suicidally attempt to park the bus against Salah. The only real problem is that Ange is not English and doesn’t have that toxic mentality. Football is literally all about putting the ball in the opposition’s net. There is no glory in a clean sheet, or in reducing the goals conceded. I would much rather Liverpool lose 3-6 than lose 0-3.
