SDA are people who keep the 7th day sabbath created at creation AND they prepare for the 2nd advent of Christ, obviously inherent in that is the fact that we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior. so its not just a name, its a statement of who we are. christian simply means a follower of Christ however the name doesnt say HOW because as we know many professed Christians believe all they need to do is believe and keep sinning. I choose to keep the Lords Sabbath and prepare for Christ Advent ...so im a SDA.
And one day l literally saw Jesus walked in my apartment and said. You know what your problem is it is self. And l turned to Him and said well SELF got to GO.
I have many many more stories but l will just say this one. One l asked Him Daddy why do l have so many many problems and immediately He answered and said because you have A Made Up Mind

Temptation comes and then
Self picks it up
At our baptism we accepted
Christ first then we joined the church.
For years l too had a big
sin problem wanted to
brreak it and no matter l
did it just would not break
