    Pretty sure the docking station does NOT supply power to your monitors.

      It does… why do you think the power in is 160W and power out is only 100?

      @@ianvanessen9356 Where are the power outlets on the device to power three monitors (or even one)? I don't think today's monitors can be powered by USB?

    I have a question: without Displaylink drivers, will the hdmi port (alt mode) work on macbook m1 ?
    I ask this to understand if that port uses the GPU directly or does it use the driver and thus the CPU also for monitor no.1

    I connected wavlink thunderbolt 4 dock to my Rtx3070ti laptop. Then, I connected 3 1080p monitors to dock but i can not setup nvidia surround. The monitos are connected to integrated gpu instead of nvidia gpu. Disappointed

    So I’ve connected 3 monitors using 3 HDMI cords, all 3 monitors are on and working, the only thing is my mouse only has access to two monitors even though the third monitor is on- even my screen is showing on the third monitor. Does anyone know the reason for this? Thanks in advance

      Right click on your desltop and choose display settings. See if you can see all of your monitors in the setup there. Make sure that you have them in the correct configurations. In other words, make sure the monitor on the right is on the right. You can drag them around and then hit apply to make it how you want.

    How long is the USB-C to USB-C cable?
    My biggest gripe with these docking stations is you have to have it RIGHT NEXT to your laptop because the cable isn't long enough.

      Not the case with this. You can have a 3m USB cable connecting the laptop and docking station if you wanted. The cable isnt fixed to the device as it with some docking stations.

      I'm hoping that this one has a short little cable. Not all type-c cables are created equal, and you need one that is truely capable of delivering thunderbolt speeds. By definition those tend to be short and expensive. I'm trying to find confirmation that it not only advertises thunderbolt "compatibility" but also recieves input at that speed. The fact that the cable in the vidoe seems short and has extended ends, suggests that it does, in fact, flow data at true thunderbolt speeds. Given that this is a pretty low-priced dock however, I'd feel better if I could find some specs on the throughput of the input port and whether it runs at true thunderbolt speeds (40gb)

      Hello,this device is not a thunderbolt docking,however it could be compatible with laptops with thunderbolt 3/4 port

    • @jerryw1608
      @jerryw1608 6 месяцев назад

      This device does have thunderbolt 3 to support alt display mode and 2 4k@60hertz minitors. This makes a total of 3 4k monitors.
