Omg.. Thank you for your video. My HP deskjet 2542 printer has been driving me crazy for a week due to ink and printing issue. I've resolved the ink issue after replacing it. It was the printing that took me a while to fix it. I've checked loads of videos until I came across yours. The best one ever. I didn't even know that there is a bin at the back. I found a piece of fabric there 😂. My printer is now working 🎉Thank you again. ❤
Absolutely spot on review. I had an issue with paper jam and after following the steps I found a tiny piece of plastic that was broken from the paper guide. Thanks a mil. now I can print important documents. Great Job guys @HP printer support
Thank you for making this video. I have been trashing my HP printers becasue of same problems. Oh how I wished I watched this video before trashing my printers. Thanks. It worked for me.
Thank you so, so much. I also had to use the clean out door and what did I find, a pen had fallen in there. Now the printer works fine. Your video saved me money!
Amazing, was just getting ready to buy a new one and thought I'd search for this as a latch ditch attempt. Turns out there was a plastic clothes clip lodged in the cleanout door. Just saved me £30 - thanks :D
Hi, my hp deskjet ink advantage 2545 has the paper rolled or wrapped in the bar that rolls the paper inside the printer. How do I get the paper off when not a portion is extended out to reach?
In my case it was a matter of cleaning the rollers :) The printer's been playing up lately and I was really getting frustrated but then I came across this video and it's as good as new. Thanks a lot!
Thank you for the video I fixed my printer with the same model. Every time I used the paper was Jammed what did I cleaned the rollers now is working properly. Thank you very much I save money almost I buy a new one

Thank you. This video helps a lot. My wife already frustrated and nearly give up to continue her masters. Lol! No wonder the paper was jammed. There's thermometer found underneath the printer.
Had no idea about the door on the bottom and was getting so frustrated. Watched this video, was surprised to hear about that clean-out door, opened it and sure enough, a pen had fallen in the printer and was lodged in the bottom where it could not be seen from any other angle. Thank you! We were about ready to buy a new printer...
This video was so helpful I found something in my printer as it was sitting in the loft for a while I was worried first it stopped working put I found a wrapper inside the back

the paper gets jammed while feeding and there are no obstructions. The paper seems to be getting caught on the little rubber flap near the exit tray, along the cartridge path. What is that thing?
+Sean Posten Just started having the same issue with my printer. Haven't been able to find any solution or suggestion other than to contact HP support.

+RBtwentysix Based on the description of your issue, I suspect that you are using Windows 8 on your computer and the printer is connected wirelessly. If yes, please follow the steps in the "Only Part of a Wireless Print Job or Page Prints (Windows 8)" document ( ow.ly/ZLxJe ). If I am incorrect, please let me know which operating system you are using, how the printer is connected, and does it do it for all print jobs?
+HP Printer Support thanks for getting back to me and yes it jams for most print jobs asides the test prints coming directly from the printer itself , im using Windows 10 and i tried both wired and wirelessly and its the same , could it be a windows 10 comparability problem?
+RBtwentysix I am presuming that you have already completed all the steps in the "An 'E4' Error Displays (Paper Jam)" document ( ow.ly/ZQC6R ). I know your print jobs are trying to print, but please follow the steps in the "HP Printers - Print Jobs Stuck in Print Queue (Windows)" document ( ow.ly/ZQB9U ). If you are still experiencing the issue after completing the steps in that document, then please follow the steps in the "After Windows 10 Upgrade, Printer Problems Occur" document ( ow.ly/ZQBQP ). Mine feeds regular paper just fine. It's label sheets it's having trouble with - it starts then they bend about an inch in and stop. Note - these labels USED to feed fine.
Have you modified the settings on the printer or in the software for the types of labels you are using? Also defenitely follow the paper jam process to see if there is anything in the path. You could also treat it as a paper pick up issue. Because of the different backing material for a sheet of labels, the rollers may need to be cleaned. Please verify the model# of the printer.
the paper is stuck inside the printer...... if i turn the printer on, the rollers keep rolling while the paper is stuck inside...i cant let my mom see this.......i dont know what to do....:(
