The battle of distortion. Sound should be judge by the quality of low mid high at high and low volume. Mostly local sound systems are judged by the loudness and strongest power of bass which usually sound distorted. Based on my experienced watching live big musical events & concerts like Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival Miami, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Journey, Michael Jackson, GNR etc the sound is very clear and clean at very high and loud volume.
i think, you never experienced watching one... it may sound distorted on the recording, but in reality, it is not.. the phone's microphone just cannot handle the amount of bass that those sound systems produced..
and by the way.. we give no fuck at all about your experience in big international concerts.. local sound systems here prioritize long throw heavy hard bass and ear drum piercing mid-highs while minimizing hard clipping and distortion.. it's not all about the intensity that we really care of, but the clarity of sound that one's sound system can reproduce.. for as long as our power amps and drivers can handle the intensity while having low thd, we're fine with that.. and it's a big no-no for us when the distortion comes in...
