Awesome stuff as ever Greg - but do you know what is currently the best way to advertise tee designs to get sales (have uploaded minimum of 10 designs every day for the last 2 months to 2 different platforms and so far not a sale) cheers
Thank you, one of my friends helped me pick out the lighting gear and set it up. Lots of behind the scenes tweaking to get it looking just right! Thank you for acknowledging it!
The affiliate link idea is brilliant, Greg. It's nice that you took the time to suggest that people buy a tripod. I shoot photography professionally, create fine art imagery and represent fine art painters (which is primarily the repository of imagery I will draw on for my print on demand applications) but, the second you started talking about the video - the image of them needing a tripod came unbidden to mind. As they say, Great minds think alike - or is it, as my wonderful, late mother-in-law, who was British, used to say? "Yes, but keep in mind that small minds also seldom differ."
High quality, valuable, replies with affiliate links linked to text have never given me an issue on Quora. I think they like to reserve the right to ban accounts that are spamming affiliate links in an annoying way.
That's a shame to hear about the layoff, but it may be a blessing in disguise (like it was for me when I got into all this online business stuff years ago). I hope you get some good online passive income streams going so you never have to work a traditional job again! Let me know if I can help. ps. I put as much about how I made this transition myself on my channel, there's a ton there already. Here to help if you need it.
Hey Greg, started my pod journey just yesterday watching your videos. Quick question, at what point did you make your first sales? Like, 1 month, 1 year. Keep up!
Right on! I think it was about 1 month, and that’s pretty much the average. There a video I made a while ago, called how long to your first Tshirt sale, that looked at 50 sellers averaging their first sale time. You may find it helpful. Hope that helps!
Hi! Your video is great!. Could you make a video how to find or get the links for affiliate marketing besides amazon? I didn't find affiliate links for free or cheap. Thanks!
Thanks and welcome to the channel! I hope I can help you get some passive income going online so you can make that transition. Happy to help when you need me! Also, tons of good stuff in previous videos that cover a lot of ground.
Excellent video. Greg. Question. Did you use any promo for print on demand? For example, social media pages, or did you just rely on the print on websites to find your customers? Thank you.
Great question. I've done it all ways pretty much (organic site traffic, social media pages, paid advertising). The best way overall currently is organic site traffic. I hope that helps!
Unfortunately, I've now had accounts suspended/deleted on Redbubble and Teepublic, allegedly violating the terms and conditions. I use (and pay for) Canva Pro, which allows me to use elements, etc, for commercial use. So it's a right mess up! Plus Amazon turned me down. I only set up my POD 2 weeks ago. It's going well 🤣
Thanks Greg for another informative video. I am an absolute beginner with the passive income business model. I'd like to know more about the "Quora Affiliate" marketing model. Do I need my own website for this to succeed? And I'm assuming I also need a bank account or a PayPal account to receive payments.
Alright, so based on Idea 2, here's an idea I'd like your feedback on. What if I have my own online product, verified and wanted in the market, such as a Fitness course. Could I basically be my own marketer for starters using this same method?
@@GregGottfried Great! And if I had said product but uploaded it somewhere to allow other Affiliate Marketers to promote my content, doesn't that mean another way of passive income? Because I'm no longer doing the marketing whilst getting sales through affiliates who get paid by doing what they do well.
Dear Greg Thank you so much for all these useful informations you share with us i had a suggestion can you make a video for the people who lives outside of USA specially in third world countries about POD. what they need to start there POD business and i see there is a lot of people watching your videos and they are outside of USA.
Thanks for the comment! I think it is a must actually, but as long as it is commercially usable, and copyright-free. That bit is crucial. More on that here if you need it: ruclips.net/video/1gszGtQJjQ0/видео.html
Another excellent video Greg! I appreciate your concise and simple way of explaining everything. I like the Quora affiliate marketing model. In general I like to help people where I can and have already been answering peoples questions on FB or YT comments regarding my hobbies on related channels that I follow so it's great to know that money can be earned from Quora when answering questions.
Thanks Penny! Sounds like an excellent way to start making some money from something you already enjoy doing. Thanks for the comment, great to see your name here!
Hey, Greg thank you for another great video. I didn't know about Quora, this is easier than create a blog, drive traffic. For Pod do you suggest niche store or general store?

If you want to sign up for an affiliate program and they ask for your website or app you will be using to promote the products do you need a personal app or website or can you just put in general sites like Facebook and RUclips?
Thanks for another great video Greg :) That RUclips affiliate marketing idea is really interesting. Currently, I am working on a youtube channel for the past 4 months and gained 1.6k subs. But I decided not to promote any affiliate links till I get 10k subs and only focus on content. What do you think of this? Is it a good strategy? and If possible make a detailed video on RUclips affiliate marketing in the future.
Hey Praveen, thanks for the comment! I think it's all about how you incorporate the affiliate links. If you are able to make videos that a really helpful land valuable, I don't think your subscribers will mind that you mention an affiliate link. If the content stays great, I think you can start now! Hope that helps, that's exciting to hear that your channel is already growing!

Ideally you want to use products you already own. That will make your cost $0. There’s always going to be a risk in business, but that’s what makes it so that not everyone does it.
